MSNBC had a crazy nut on a show that said Trump's victory tour is menacing and threatening to people that did not vote for him !!

Insane.

It's none other than ultra Progressive Michelle Goldberg from Slate.com.

She particularly fixated on a comment Trump made on one such victory tour about unsupporters actually being on "our side" and they just don't know it yet.

I guess she forgot to equalize the thoughts by saying maybe some people get menaced and threatened when Obama or Hillary open their donut holes !!

vicious menacing !!

Slate’s Michelle Goldberg: Trump Victory Tour ‘Menacing and Threatening’ to Non-Trump Supporters

Friday on MSNBC’s “All In,” Slate columnist Michelle Goldberg weighed in on President-elect Donald Trump’s victory tour thanking his voters, saying the rallies are “menacing and threatening” the majority of the people who did not vote for him in the 2016 election

“The whole posture is one of both rallying the people who voted for him, and also kind of menacing and threatening the majority who didn’t — with these sort of menacing asides. ‘They’re on our side, they just don’t know it yet.’ ‘You’re going to like what we have in store.’ I don’t think I am reading too much into this,” Goldberg told host Chris Hayes.

She concluded that Trump will “turn our country into a racist police state.”

MSNBC.
Aren't they one of the MSM outlets shown to be in in collusion with the Hillary campaign by the Podesta emails?

Yeah, they have no credibility, and anyone showing their face on any MSNBC shows are buffoons.

Yet their stories seem to attract the people who dismiss them the most, just for the sake of bipartisan tripe and banter, spam, and circular arguments.

Elections have consequences.

The Dems bought their own lies.

Whenever either side seeks to separate and divide us.

American's will try anything once.

But, I hope and pray the disease that in Political Correctness.

Is dead and buried. It is so dangerous to brand half of us Deplorable's.

This is how wars break out. We are all equal.

We don't need anyone to come and define what equal is.

Just out of curiosity (not being American)- is this "thank-you" tour a novelty in Presidential elections, or has it become part of the routine in recent years?

Great way to back up the story from MSNBC.
I guess that's all you have.
Congrats for trying.

I don't actually know.

Possibly Trump's is a first.

I have a current guilty pleasure in being happy about the reaction of Trump's win. NOT a Trump fan, for the record. However, the screams, the wailing and gnashing of teeth, the infantile whining and crying of liberals (who should be ashamed calling themselves that... REAL liberals are OK with free speech, less intrusive government and a non-interventional foreign policy) just gives me a little hope.

I NEED them to keep doing this, crying this, screaming this from the rooftops. They need to do this on every forum, blog, Discus, everywhere they can. Take 16 hours a day to focus on it. Lose your kids, your job... FOCUS!!!! Keep the narrative going!!!!

They need to burn out the Progressive narrative that is infecting our society. Keep screaming it until the average person sees their posts and goes EEWWWWW... WTH is that?

We need a balance in this country... actual liberal viewpoints, actual conservative viewpoints. We need to be able, as people, to sit down and discuss the differences, meet in the middle and make things better for all of us.

The Progressive ideology is the antithesis of a free society. We don't need a D or an R elected official that follows it.

So I hope they keep pushing it. Trump winning just showed that people, despite themselves, are waking up.

I basically started life as a Progressive Liberal Tree Huggin Hippie Type. Thinking I was a Democrat. But thats what happened . We grew older and took over the Democratic Party. No more Kennedy style Democrats could be tolerated . Preached intolerance of others and a hatred of any views not our own until we had completely beat down the True Blue Democrats. Then we started against the Conservatives.
I awoke one morning in the year 2000 and said to myself "what a crock of sh**" feller" . I had seen the possible future of this country and it was not good .

Now , any questions on why I battle so hard against the group I belonged to for so long ?

Not at all. I was raised by hippies. Like did some commune time and had a few years with bean sprouts and no electricity as a child.

In my 30's I did a radical swing and became... Conservative!!! Woot!!! All about free market and paying the bills. My parents were mortified.

Then I noticed that my new party talked different, but my new party was actually my old party.

Neither party espouses liberalism. Or conservatism. Both ideals need each other. Neither party has either.

Don't know where a third party run is going to go (TY Stein for sending third party efforts back a few election cycles) but there needs to be a change. I think Trump won just because people, deep down, know this. I don't think he's the answer... but he may just possibly help. Despite himself.

So we'll see and I know where you're coming from, brother...

Trump's is first. It is actually bizarre. Most would be working on the transition, attending security briefings. In Trump's case, possibly learning how the government functions.

Nope, he's having a bunch of rallies that look exactly like campaign rallies.

This is good evidence of the state of our country. Liberals apparently can't comprehend that people can do multiple things at once.

A bunch of rallies that look like campaign rallies... maybe there is a precedent here, after all.

Hasn't Obama been campaigning since 2008? Honestly.

I'm just wondering how far your cognitive dissonance goes.

True.

Dare to dream and hope that something third party shows up, but I'll hush for now and stop the thread drift...

It's a Truth. We need both sides, both ideals, to be a balanced society. One pitted against the other, both meeting in the middle with civility.

THAT is how the founder's experiment worked, so long ago. That is what really made America great. The free exchange of ideas.

It's a marriage. Of millions.

I've no idea why people can't understand that.
