The founder of MediaMatters David Brock has outlined some brand new strategies.

He has a website that will become the Breitbart of the Left !!

Brock is apparently "relaxing" the MediaMatters war on FoxNews and plans to focus more on "fake news" and wage war on the "alt-right"

This should make excellent topics in the future !!

Media Matters Founder David Brock Vows to Create a ‘Breitbart of the Left’

Clinton ally and liberal Super PAC operator David Brock told reporters Tuesday that he plans to create a new outlet designed to serve as a counterpoint to alt-right website Breitbart.

Brock purchased liberal website BlueNationReview in 2015, rebranding it in 2016 as “ShareBlue.” ShareBlue, he said Tuesday, would be the “Breitbart of the left…” so long as the financial contributions kept pouring.

Who in their right mind would want to create another Brietbart? LOL Brietbart just got owned by the weather channel. They're probably the worst blog on the internet.

Way to reach for the stars there.

Another source I'll ignore.

They already have the Huffington Post?

I go to Drudge to read the Conservative wacko position and then I go to the Huffington Post to get the Liberal wacko side of things, so I get well rounded propaganda.

Sorry folks, I'm in a punchy, whacky, smart a$$ed mood tonight! So what else is new?

What would be the point?

You can turn on CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS and get all the left wing news you could want. The left doesn't need to have a special news outlet since they own all the MSM.

Lol what movie is that pic from? I just can't place it.

But yeah I thought the same thing, isn't most of the main stream media essentially breitbart of the left? That's just what we need, another partisan news producer.

Here's a novel idea, a news corp that tells you just the facts, and let's people make up thier own minds. No spin, no opinions, none of the "here's what jenny from wherever tweeted about this". That's honestly what I hate most about the news these days, who cares what some random, barely informed, twitter using twit thinks about anything. And please stop reporting the lives of celebrity's like it's newsworthy, cause it's not.

Personally I think PBS has the most watchable news.

That's laughable. None of those sites represent the left wing. MSNBC is the closest but even they're center on the political spectrum. They just seem to be "left wing" to right wingers because none of you knows what America's left wing actually stands for.

Brock should call it 'Buzzfeed' and have it run by a psycho - that'll be the counter-punch the left needs.

Fairly sure its from Mr. Deeds.

I don't think any real news network would survive. It would just be too bland. However, perhaps proper labeling would suffice. Left/center/right/cons/lib/prog etc etc to describe their slant.

They already have that on nearly every news channel / broadcast on TV.

Neither does the left if they weren't outraged Hillary was their candidate.

Maybe, but the "left wing" that we've all come to know and loathe Brock is the posterchild of all that.

Why in the hell doesn't someone, ANYONE, develop a website that just speaks the truth?

The Democratic Party is a center of the spectrum party. They only seem "left" when compared to the right wing Republicans.

I'm guessing you don't follow left wing politics because if you did, you'd know that actual left wingers and Democrats are in a huge feud right now because of Hillary's selection and subsequent loss. Democrats have consistently undermined and ignored actual left wing progressives because we're anti-war, and want Wall Street heavily regulated or broken up. We're also generally pro-socialism, pro-single payer healthcare, pro-environment & renewable energies, anti-fracking, pro-drug legalization (though we differ on which drugs), pro-technological improvements like high speed rail and a smart energy grid, pro-prosecution for torture & the Iraq War, etc. Take a look at any Green Party branch's platform to see what I mean.

But the Democratic Party's powerbrokers still back the MIC, back Wall Street, continues the Republicans' War on Terror & War on Drugs, is anti-whistleblower, refused to prosecute anyone of note in the Bush administration, rejects single payer healthcare, "coincidentally" allows the criminal justice system to disproportionately target minorities, etc.

It's not a coincidence that when the Dems had the presidency and both chambers of Congress during Pres Obama's first 2 years in office, Congress still didn't pass comprehensive immigration reform, climate change legislation, single payer health care, criminal justice reform, or end the War on Drugs. All we got was an extension in Iraq, the permanent approval of more than 80% of the Bush tax cuts, and a mutated form of Romneycare (even when the left was begging for at least a public option). NONE of the the actual left wing's policies were implemented, hence the dismal left wing turnout in 2010.

I could say the same thing for Republicans. Point being the two parties benefit TPTB. Many of Americans are just looking for solid change.

Many supported Bernie for his anti establishment approach, and it is no coincidence the same phenomenon on both sides.

That would be inadvisable and unfortunate, we need real news source , not another bull sht fake news org like FOX and friends and friends or Breitbart that continuously pull stuff outta their asses, plus my take on this , most Libs are discerning and will not go for the Oki Doke.

No we don't, don't confuse corporate news orgs with so called libs, they made Donald Trump possible and Bernie Sanders election impossible.
Called them neo Liberals if you want, but there is a huge difference.
