The approximately 65 million Democrats who voted for Hillary Clinton should pledge that in the future if a Republican wins the presidency with fewer votes than a Democrat for the third time in our era, we won’t pay taxes to the federal government. No taxation without representation!

Twice in the past 16 years, a Republican candidate who finished second in the popular vote has won the presidency. This year, Donald Trump won the electoral vote with about 46% of the popular vote, while Hillary Clinton received about 48%. If the parties stay this evenly divided, another electoral mishap is more likely than not in the next 20 years.

LINK

With all of the terrible things that Obama and George W. Bush did, I never read anything in the MSM such as the above. Why is Donald Trump causing so much divisiveness?

It indicates to me that people's values are tied more to the political party they support than anything else. The system of the United States federal government is supposed to begin and end with the Constitution. The Electoral College is part of the Constitution. There's no grey area. If you support the Constitution, then you support the Electoral College.

Does anyone else feel like the world is collectively losing its mind?

Wasn't it Herr Drumpf who stated "I don't pay taxes, that doesn't make Me a CROOK, but someone who is smart"? or words to that effect?

Ok, dont pay taxes. But if you go that route any and ALL social program assistance your family receives will be revoked.

ETA: not directed at anyone here, just a general statement

My husband said the same thing. I think that is a great idea. I am a democrat in Idaho and no representation at all.

Yep! If you can't see the hidden agenda of an all out civil war being promoted by the order out of chaos 1%, and the MSM then I feel really bad for those who are so blinded by their political ideology when the S really hits the fan because of their divisiveness and things just didn't go their way this time around!

George Soros will be very happy to watch the demise of those who played right into his and his masters plan! In other words, we are all expendable if it means getting in the way of their NWO Utopia.

We should all stop paying taxes. Let the IRS have some fun trying to sort that out.

So stupid...

And how would one go about not paying taxes? Are they going to go to their employer and say please stop taking taxes out of my pay check? Are they going to tell the IRS at the end of the year that they aren't paying taxes this year because they have sandy butts? And the IRS is going to say OK!!!

I look forward to more stupid stories like this for the next 4 years. The butt hurt is big with this bunch.

Divide and conquor and some of you Deny Ignorance members are falling for the same B.S. they planned for you to do.

Can't you all see the MSM are trying to push the political affiliation ideals down people's throats so they can keep the public divided and distracted so the Govt can continue doing what it does best? Take away your freedoms and more control over your meaningless lives while you all are worrying about protecting your political ideology that means nothing at all...

Good!

I think we pay too much in taxes as it is.

It's a start, a first step!

Just because it's seen doesn't mean it's believed.

We are social creatures and this is why mob mentality through social media works.

Certainly why it's so easy to push crap and news equally.

Ah how quickly things change!

When Obama was in power, they told us paying taxes was patriotic.

Well, not paying fed taxes will fix that. Republicans have been itching to defund welfare for 40 years. Let's get it over with. This would be a good beginning and make some of us richer. Like our new president. Well, not that rich.

It was but they forgive him. You know...Because he does it big league.
This thread could have been grounds for conversation however it's from the few comments I do see.
Just a flame thread to call people on welfare monkeys. Or call democrats jobless leeches.
You know because it's YUUUGE (the level of hypocrisy they secrete).

I remember when our new Treasury Sec. Geithner couldn't figure out how to pay his taxes. It seems that TurboTax was "too complicated" for him, and that was OK too.

When Donnie doesn't pay taxes its "because he's an intelligent businessman."

When someone who isn't Donnie (usually a Democrat) doesn't pay taxes its "because they're loser low-life's who don't work etc etc etc."

With that said - I'm down with not paying taxes. I've always supported the concept of abolishing the federal income tax.

In 2016 America - why not? At this point in time what do we have to lose? Our freedom? The integrity of our nations economy?

Those went out the window years back.
