Art Bell and Wife Suing Michael Savage and WW1 for Defamation

In a complaint filed in U.S. District Court in the Northern District of California, radio talk host Art Bell and his wife Airyn Ruiz Bell are Michael Savage, Westwood One and parent company Cumulus Media for defamation, defamation per se, false light invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Figured to share being who he is as well as his accuser, radio host, Michael Savage being well known in conspiracy circles. As some may know already,this isn't a first time Mr. Bell has dealt with claims against him- Slander case- Art Bell vs Ted Gunderson - Another article. That time it cost him his Coast to Coast hosting job.

Last year he left his then show-Midnight in the Desert due to claims he was attacked. A friend offered photographic evidence of the said attack on him.

Hopefully this can be dealt with accordingly being it seems there's a plan to further keep him off the air if he plans to return in the future and discredit him.

The suit notes that "Ms. BELL has never been a prostitute and was 22 years old when the BELLS married. Also, Mr. BELL was not 'off the radio' because he discussed UFOs or married Ms. BELL. These facts were publicly known and closely followed by many in the radio broadcasting industry and general public."

A request for a retraction or correction was "ignored," the complaint states. "At present, Mr. BELL is strongly considering resumption of his radio broadcasting and journalism careers," the complaint adds. "However, the Statement has harmed his professional reputation and is hindering his efforts to return to broadcasting and journalism."

So Savage accused Art Bell of being with a 10 year old prostitite, who is implied as his wife. Who when married she is 22...yeah sue his ass. GO Art Bell! Age discrepancies aside this is libel.

Hope Art sues his butt blind. Savage is just another alt right low life that attacks people more famous than him. There for a while he and Jon Stewart was going at each other. I wonder how he is enjoying that ban from the UK due to his hate speech.

I heard that broadcast and if anything, he offered this up as a cautionary tale. (To be candid, I didn't realize he was talking about bell).

The point was there are some areas you can only go if you are ready to have your reputation and livelihood destroyed. Savage commented on the "accusations" that were leveled against Bell for speaking about things that "they" don't want discussed.

In any event, I'll take anyone's gentleman's bet that this suit goes where it should.... exactly nowhere.

I guess you didn't read about (or ignored) the leaks about Hillary's involvement in keeping Savage on the banned list?

yeah this will go nowhere. Savage is pretty wealthy isnt he? I think he could afford to tie things up in court much longer than Bell who is living in the Phillippines of all hell hole places.

Too bad....i loved Art Bell and i like Savage too.

People need to realize that if someone is a pundit, which is what Savage is, he is expressing his opinion and lacing it with what he thinks is humor or sarcasm and im pretty sure you cant sue someone for making a joke. Or, do we now need to preface every statement which could be perceived as a statement of fact, as a joke?

I find it ironic that Savage is calling anyone a pedo. His reputation isn't that squeeky clean either.

I know about that and good for her why let even more hatred flow from America to the UK. Also America is full of racist and aholes so to get a book by Savage to be a best seller is not that hard. Just write a book and title it Melting liberal snowflakes with their own logic. It will be a best seller in no time thanks to the knuckledraggers.

No, I don't listen to Conservative talk radio. Closest I stereotypical come to that is/was Art bell and Coast to Coast AM.

Plus, I didn't write the source, though I shared the second 'ex texts' with the source explains the discrepancy.

It's quite possible that happened with Bell at the end of his most recent show. I recall before that time Bell had "Occult" guests on. If someone or someones didn't like that then it wold fit into:
