Suicidal man kills 10 after causing train wreck in california (from ATSNN)

The man parked his car on the tracks to try and kill himself causing the train to derail, killing 10 and injuring 100. At the last moment he got out and watched the wreck according to the glendale police chief. He was arrested and is expected to be charged with homicide.

A spokeswoman for the commuter line, Metrolink, said a Metrolink train hit the car at a railroad crossing, ran into another Metrolink train and crashed into a parked Union Pacific train.

The number of passengers involved in the derailment in Glendale, California, is not known.

This must have been scary for the passengers, watching helplessly as the train tried to stop. I hope no more were killed due to his stupid actions. Really i dont know what he was thinking, did he consider he might derail the train? i mean this was very stupid, i hope he cant ever sleep at night, thinking of what he did.
