Snarl's Happy Thanksgiving Message

Hey!! I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I've got my kids in from different states and my oldest Army buddy up from sunny Florida. I'm set.

I want you all to know ... during my favorite holiday ... how much I care for you all. The love and camaraderie on this site knows no bounds. I revel in it day-to-day and try to give it back when the opportunity presents.

If you don't see me on-line for a few days ... smile ... and water your own roots that reside in the real world.

Hey, Happy Thanksgiving! I hope everyone has a wonderful time tomorrow with their friends and family.

Mine won't be until Saturday, but we'll be having a special meal just the three of us here at home tomorrow.

I also learned a new favorite cooking term - spatchcock! It might be my new favorite word.

Lucky for you, I'm up to bat tomorrow on turkey. Made the sausage stuffing, over buttered bacon cream cheese mashed potatoes and deviled eggs today. The turkey will meet up with "The Boiling Greaster" at 2 pm. Deep fried! 😙

My kids' can't make it over this year.Recently, my son-in-law was diagnosed with
leukemia.Then my son had a heart attack.My husband has had three strokes in
the past and can't drive as much as he used to.He refuses to let me drive and
I don't know why...It's a man thing!
So, I am just baking a couple of chicken breasts and dressing,mashed sweet
potatoes,gravy,green beans,1-pumpkin pie and cranberry salad.I am used to baking
at least 3 pies at this time,this will seem strange.
Everybody is feeling okay,it's just that no one feels up to driving any great distance.
I do wish everyone a happy thanksgiving and I hope no one burns down their house
or garage deep frying a turkey.I always bake mine,it's safer that way!
