This is completely insane. A woman was gang-raped by two men in Dubai, so she of course did what any person in her position should do: she reported it to the police. The problem however is that in the Islamic UAE, there is no differentiation between rape and consensual sex... So now this woman who had been raped by two men could potentially be stoned to death for being raped.

You won't hear a word from the left...

The UAE is a federation of absolute Islamic monarchy.

This isn't a secret. Neither is it secret that most muslim countries do not separate Islam from law. In fact it is entirely derived from Islam.

Sharia law is practiced as a matter of course in most of the Islamic world including the UAE.

Women driving in Saudi Arabia is not technically against the law, but is banned in practice because women are not able to obtain driving licences. Some exceptions have been made in rural areas if a woman driving is essential for her family life.
