Apparently Bobby is too busy touring right now, and his prior commitments prevent showing up......
Personally, id rather it was a statement about the irrelevance of the Nobel picks in the past, or some other protest.....
Unfortunately, hes just too busy, just send the cheque please.....
After Obama got the peace prize (doctor drone) I gave up on the organisation for good....

"The academy said it was told by Dylan that "he wishes he could receive the prize personally, but other commitments make it unfortunately impossible." It would seem they are a bit miffed....

Many literature aficionados have decided to let their snobbery rule their thinking over Robert Zimmerman's Nobel prize announcement.

But many of the populist think it was a very good decision.

He can't just cancel dates of a tour in order to pick up an award, it's only an award.

Same here. They were about to sink even lower, nominating the "White Helmets" brigade in Syria for it. That prize should be reserved exclusively for 'peaceful' people and organizations.

Not turned into a propaganda tool to bolster support for regime change.

only obligation is that he must have a meeting/lecture within six months.. He isnt the first one who doesnt show up and wont be the last.

I always enjoyed his tunes and marvelled at his turn of phrase.....
Hes provided me with images that I will always carry with me ...
I do think hes worthy of the award............
