Skinwalker Ranch road and ownership update

The more I look into it, I'm about 90% confident that Thomas Winterton is the actual owner of Skinwalker Ranch. He's also a hotel owner/operator like Mr. Bigelow, albeit of a smaller stature.

Winterton owns/operates Winterton Suites with 3 locations (Roosevelt, UT, Duchesne, UT, & Williston, ND).

HIs wife is the registered agent for a business named Oom Solutions, LLC

He also is the Prez of something called [url=http://www.fjorfilms.com/]Fjor Films. Does he have plans to make a film regarding the ranch?...

I thought the gate was always up but it was public access. your explanation is more plausible and makes the sale more mundane

to keep a road private you only have to close the gate to the public one day of the year.
This is common practice in the west for legal reasons like to protect against lawsuits from morons that speed or kill themselves doing dumb things on your property without permission.
If they try to sue you claim criminal trespassing and liking it gets thrown out of court.
