Recent rumors have been flying around the MSM about Trump supposedly trying to get members of his family top secret security clearance.

Trump is denying this.

Where did these rumors originate I wonder?

My guess is the MSM is at it again as usual.

Trump denies trying to get security clearance for his children

Republican President-elect Donald Trump said on Wednesday he was not trying to get security clearance for his children, which would allow them access to classified government information.

"I am not trying to get 'top level security clearance' for my children. This was a typically false news story," the New York real estate magnate said in a Twitter post.

Trump was referring to media reports that he was seeking security clearance for his three oldest children - Donald Jr., Eric and Ivanka - as well as Ivanka's husband, Jared Kushner. Trump spokesman Jason Miller said Trump also was not trying to get clearance for Kushner.

"No paperwork has been completed or sent," he said.

In the last day or two it looks like they have changed it from "he has asked" to "he has inquired about it".

Looks like that son in law (Ivanka's husband) might get it though. And I don't trust that. If he knows something then you can take it to the bank that Ivanka does, and if she knows, then her brothers know.

I don't like it.

More fake news from the MSM.

It really wouldn't be a story if true anyway.

Hillary broke the ground for this. If Cabinet members can give their children classified material without the children holding a security clearance.... Why not a President giving the same to his kids that would have a security clearance???

It came from Kellyann Conway. source

She announces things, he denies them. That is the little 'thing' they have together.

Okay, let me make sure I understand you. You think it's okay, if these four Trump 'children' have security clearance?
You think, somewhere in your brain, this is alright.

Yes a very strange response indeed.

Donald Trump’s former campaign manager said Tuesday that any inquiries into getting security clearances for President-elect Donald Trump’s adult children would have been made “very informally.”

would have been made

Hmmmmm

It's odd because it seems Trump is going to attempt
to take his nepotism to the Nth degree now.
Not that it hasn't been done - no one can tell me Bush
became president without dads help inside and out.
While Bush senior however was president I don't recall him
ever asking for security clearance for any of his sons
and they're politicians.
Trump who has never even held an office now in a round about way
wants all his kids to have access to information in some senators
and congressmen don't?

Well I find that absurd.

He's Trump. He does what he wants to do. If there are things, even top secret he wants to discuss with them, he will. The "official" clearance doesn't matter a whit. Of course if any of it is leaked, it would set him up for impeachment, so do it at your own peril, oh narcissistic orange one.

It is almost impossible to understand exactly what he or she means at any given time.

How does one ask for security clearance informally? "Hey bro, it would be cool to see some daily briefings, but don't want to jam you up with finding all the paperwork and whatnot. Maybe you could just HMU with a txt,"
