Dave Chappelle was the host and one of my favorite comedian/actors next to Jim Brewer. I watched the whole episode and this sketch was my favorite even includes a special guest!!

I'll also include his monologue.

Also, I've never heard the word which can't be mentioned so many times in one episode.

All it does is reinforce the myth of all Trump voters being white and racist.

Which is of course racist.

HAHA! I waited...and then waited again!

IDK if you are a fan of Chappelle but the man is looking beastly. Still funny too.

Not exactly, but it showed two people who were more realistic about the process and the state of the country.

Love Chapelle! It was someone else's turn, np

I was throwing stuff out. Countdown to moving on Monday.

There was equal jabs in this skit, thus why it was my favorite. Slate, HuffPo, Xanax, Strawberries, Women, Minorities, stereotypes, it's all in there.

No it shows how ignorant and uninformed Chapelle and the SNL writers are.

They even pereptuate the myth of the Orlando Isis jihadi being gay and using tindr.

This is a nice thread. So, that is really enough out of you.

Dave Chappelle is aways awesome. Funny it's mentioned, as I just watched two of his stand up routines yesterday (again).

He's certainly top of the class when it comes to comedians.

I did feel this sketch seemed to undermine what I strongly perceive as an atrocity (Trump presidency). Although I did agree with most of the other points they were hinting at in the sketch.

My love for Dave Chappelle stays true.

I actually introduced my mom to him the other day. His sketch when he played Clayton Bigsby. It was appropriate at the time.

Now were getting to the meat and potatoes. What do you feel the skit undermined?

Clayton Bigsby was an excellent manifestation of true ignorance and hypocrisy summed up in true comedic fashion. Did you also see The Walking Dead skit?

The cold open was amazing too. A tribute to Leonard Cohen as well as an expression of all our feels (*gasp*) after the past week.

A Tribe Called Quest was also perfect as musical guests.

When Trump hosted it was funnier. This episode reeked of sore losers.

Here, here! That song was awesome! Watched it three times.

Best episode in years, IMO.

Chappell was spot on in his long opening monologue.
