“It is an embarrassment, I think, to the entire of [the] Democratic Party that millions of white working-class people decided to vote for Mr. Trump,” Sanders told the Associated Press. “Which suggests that the Democratic message of standing up for working people no longer holds much sway among workers in this country.

“You cannot be a party which on one hand says we’re in favor of working people, we’re in favor of the needs of young people but we don’t quite have the courage to take on Wall Street and the billionaire class,” he wrote today. “People do not believe that. You’ve got to decide which side you’re on.”
SOURCE

Working people in America are mostly against war, against corruption (Clinton-level corruption), and against globalism (Clinton's version at least). It's not surprising to me at all that working people in America mostly voted for Trump.

Sanders has a great a point. If he hadn't been robbed of his party's nomination, he would have almost definitely cruised to victory. He has no dirt; he would have had no scandals. Sanders would have destroyed Trump head to head.

I hope the Democratic Party will learn a lesson and not cheat the next time they have a primary.

You are to blame as well Sanders...

You had the opportunity to go third party and change every aspect of this country. Third parties would have had a chance to get into local governments and Pandora's box would never have been closed. You would have been the first third party president.

Yet you failed, whether from cowardice or bribery, you failed.

Acceptance of the latter is admission to the former.

While he's very right and yes he is too to blame. Too bad he didn't learn or pay attention to what Ron Paul went through in being shafted by the GOP.

Anti establishment. I trusted him, he's proven in his conviction. He does not align with my ideology but I trust him. Call me easily swayed, but vote on the substance of the candidate, which is rare.

Hillary was going to run again after Obama was done and by hook or by crook she was going to get the nomination that was taken from her by Obama. She had 8 years to plot, conspire and coordinate to completely control the outcome of the DNC nomination. Only allowing Bernie to run against her was part of the maneuverings. They mapped out everything in her favor, to the timing of debates to having agents ready to supply debate questions, to ballot control and super delegates as final insurance, leaving no surprises to chance.

Looking over at the RNC field of people who stepped forward, she conspired with the media to choose the least likely candidates to succeed by their judgment on that side to prop them up with continual coverage to help them destroy the serious candidates who gathered war chests to make serious runs. That would be Trump and Cruz who they picked, probably snickering and laughing the whole time as the Jeb Bush's dropped out of the race never gaining traction, attention, coverage.

She never counted on the actual people who cast actual votes to end up despising her transparently evil quest for power. The "Deplorables" rained on her parade, and it was poetic justice, karma incarnate.

If Hillary never ran at all, the whole election may have been down to Bernie vs Kasich or Bush or something like that, maybe Biden would have run the Obama legacy and screwed Bernie anyways. If the media ignored Trump early on and just plugged him for his occasional amateur political statements like they did to Ron Paul, Trump would have never rose to the forefront. Hillary with all of her corrupt meddling created the whole scenario.

The one thing we can all learn from this election is that the Media has too much power these days. They don't report the news they create it for either ideological reasons and or to the highest bidder.

Now they are at it again, covering the coordinated civil unrest that has been sponsored by the same sponsors who funded Hillary. Her supporters are nothing but brainwashed sheep, unknowingly programmed to follow the main stream media where they shepherd them.

I don't get it, why is the democratic party drilling that it was the working white class the one that gave the vote to Trump, that is not actually truth, the Republicans won the black states in the south and for the latinos well California has always been Democrat but Florida is not and it also have a big latino population.

I don't trust the white vote for Trump only that I have been hearing all along.

No he couldn't go third party.

Do you understand the system that is set up? They hold the primaries a few days before the cutoff date where a candidate can be on the ballot in all 50 states. They do that on purpose to prevent someone like Bernie from being eligible to run third party.

Your criticism is completely baseless.

Do you know how the system that is set up changes?

The demands of the people.

IMHO he had the momentum to cause that change and it would have resulted in the masses being exposed to the third party world. That momentum went to Trump, the #neverhillary was not a joke.

Lol hes a puppet! Lol he is blasting himself because he had the chance to audit the fed and rewrote the bill to have less oversite and accountability then before.
He was never going to really try and become president as evidence of him getting screwed by the dnc and endorsing hillary while she ignored everything he falsely stood for. Even after he got screwed he endorsed her knowingly! Lol hillary hired the person who screwed him over after she got fired and he still endorsed hillary.

HE IS A FRAUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol when will you people wake up he was only there to give hillary the younger vote and his ideas are a total rip off of Ron Pauls presidential run platform. Lol hes an old jewish socialist and you people took him seriously lol your aware the nazi had been socialist right yeah national socialist but socialist none the same. His ideas are literally horrible in a financial sense to boot. His ideas are run on pure fantasy directed at liberal youth!

Yes I do know, It is voted on at the primaries or by committee and it usually takes affect next election.

Because it is run by the DNC. Their rules their way. Filing deadlines for presidential candidates are set by the individual states.

The demands of the people.

Laughable because you are talking naively. Don't spout if you don't know.

The DNC is not all powerful and if Sanders would have ran third party there would have been no way of stopping him, the people would not have accepted the DNC's rules.

Their corrupt nature would have been exposed even further then it has.

I shall enjoy my humorous naivete!

He is a fraud who sold out his supporters. he is also a complete loon who thinks the government can just fart money and make everything free.

i am not trying to make fun of his supporters. i think their hearts are in the right place. But his ideas dont logistically work and will only end up further enslaving future generations. Free college is only free until you get out and work. Then you spend the rest of your life paying for everyone else's "Free" college.

Except for the fact that I keep telling you.

He wouldn't be able to get on the ballots. In other words he wouldn't be eligible to be president.

Do you not understand that very important fact?

Do you even understand how American politics? He didn't run third party because he is smart enough to know that there is no way a third party candidate will win in America as long as we have the two party mentality.

I do understand that, do you understand that the Green Party is on the ballot in 48 states?

The ones where they are not is states where it would have went Republican anyways.

I honestly think that he would have won if he went green party and if he lost it would have been to Trump. Again though, people would have then seen the Green party as a more valid option for local elections as well as the next election cycle. Ot would have also given more credibility to the Libertarian party.

How do you expect a corrupt system to be changed from within?

He couldn't go green party. He was already in the Democrat party.

He lost and there was no time to get on the ballot in ANY party.

If he started in the Green party people would be saying "Bernie who".

Bernie has it wrong. HILLARY CLINTON was responsible for Donald Trump's victory. Wiki-leaks exposed the fact that she and Bill Clinton became and mega millionaires, by associating with mega-millionaires. Hillary's actions made her so untrustworthy, that millions of Democrats simply stayed home, or voted for a third-party candidate.

If Hillary had greater integrity, SHE would likely be our President-elect right now.

It's cool.

I guess a lot of people do not know.

These parties set their primary convention right at the deadline to put a candidate on a ballot so that the losers do not have the opportunity to go rogue and oppose them.

Some people were trying to get enough signatures just in case he lost from people in each state, but they were too far off.
