The 2016 Presidential election has given at least 3 major "Firsts for Women"

1) Hillary Clinton is the first Woman to ever lose a Democrat or Republican Presidential election.

2) Melania Trump is the first foreign born Woman to become First Lady in 192 years.

3) Kellyanne Conway is the first Woman campaign manager to win an election for her candidate.

There might be some more.

Meet the Only First Lady Before Melania Trump Not to Have Been Born in the U.S.

You forgot that Hillary Clinton was the first woman to win the popular vote in a United States election.

Don't ever forget that.

OK that's number 4 as long as the count gets confirmed.

Ironic just the same.

Ironic, why? That Americans as a whole chose Clinton but the electoral college delegate system allowed for a Trump victory? Why is that ironic?

It is pretty ironic that when Trump THOUGHT Romney won the popular vote he wanted to burn down the electoral college system saying it was unfair and a travesty? (Romney did not win the popular vote.)

Yeah, but now it's awesome, right??

The other bit of irony was all the Hillary supporters ignoring my preaching about how fundamentally flawed the US' electoral system was.

Oops, turns out it's not so perfect after it's screwed you over, but much too late to complain now. Perhaps you'll actually look into fixing the #ing thing in the future.

But I digress, there is far too much vitriol going on right now from snidely arrogant Trump supporters and whinging Clinton supporters. Both sides need to try and calm the # down and at least try to get along. Being in a state of hysteria all the time just desensitises people to it when you really need them to pay attention.
