Just curious. How long before you can send another alert again?
I tried to alert a linkspammer again

Also, sometimes there are multiple comments that need to be alerted at one time due to different members going off topic or making ill mannered t&c violations for the topic and forum they are in. I can't do that though because of this thing. Maybe can we just see limit the alert of each member with the time lapse, but allow back to back alerts if they are on different member posts.

I'll find out the specific details when possible - though I know that the controls are in place as a form of flood protection. If helpful, in situations where there are many bad posts in a thread - saying so in the complaint form will help. IE "I'm alerting this post, but there are more following it" will clue us in to review the thread, rather than just removing the single post.

I've found it to be up to 2 hours sometimes. But then I tell an online mod in U2U and make sure to give the whole link to the page in the thread.
