THE MAJORITY OF STATES REJECTED PROGRESSIVE IDEOLOGY, SORRY.. Yes New York which is heavily populated and California gave Hillary more votes BUT THE STATES AS A WHOLE LITERALLY REJECTED YOUR IDEOLOGY AND VOTED GOP FROM THE TOP DOWN IN GOVERNMENT DEAL WITH IT

The majority of states, yes. Not the people.

No, the majority of states AND the majority of people rejected the Democrat party and Hillary Clinton.

As of now, it appears that Clinton won the popular vote.

So? She did not win a majority of the national vote. Not that it matters at all, the electoral college is what counts.

This is a very strange post. We have had a long time to determine if the Democrats policies will work and they have failed dramatically, yet you still think that we are taking a step backwards with Trump. What if he turns out to be fantastic? What if he is the answer to the failed policies? What will you say if he does what he says and it works? The policies of the last 8 years have not worked. Every single facet of life has changed for the worse and yet we are taking a step backwards? So, if the Democrats have failed dramatically, then backwards is a step in the forward direction, correct?

So that means your post was factually incorrect. The majority of people did not reject the Democrat party and Clinton. She did win the majority of the national vote.

I would be willing to wager that our definition of fantastic would be very different.

Every single facet? Don't know about you, but life is pretty good.

More people feared Hillary putting ultra liberal judges on the court overturning the Constitution 2nd Amendment, 4th Amendments, and 1st Amendments. Hillary want to shut down Talk radio, take the guns away from citizens, and be able to search your house and property to root out any who would stand against her. WE voted, We won, and We now get to have some of our freedoms protected. This country has gone far left and the silent majority spoke very loudly this election.

. We've put ourselves in a terrible spot if Trump does achieve even a small bit of what he promised.

'We' as in the Democrat party?

Only the DNC was stupid enough to pick the only more evil candidate than trump.

clinton was a cluster F of a candidate riddled with scandals, criminal investigation till the bitter end , lies, and out matched trump on just about every shady thing he did. she had decades in govt and her only message was that she was not trump and she is just a little less evil , because she had no significant accomplishments. disgusting and exactly what Americans are tired of when it comes to elected officials.

this is the DNC and hillary clintons supporters doing, just as much as the trump supporters.

dont kid yourself you know she was a disgrace of a candidate.
she should have never even gotten the chance to run,and she didnt ,had she not manipulated witj the dnc and MSM to steal it from bernie.

had the democrats gotten some balls ,ovaries ,listned to logic and not overlooked ALL her scandals we would have NOT had a trump presidency.

the dnc picked the only person that was able to lose to trump. this is on thr dnc and its supporters just as much as trump supporters.

Isn't this what happened to current president for last 8 years - GOP did not give him a chance to work...

Let's wait and see where this train is going... but for now from what I see - after so many promises of draining the swamp - his candidates for office are from the bottom of swamp?! (perhaps that was the reason to drain it - to be able to get to them?!

Question you should really ask yourself - what if he does not, but instead of bankrupt one of his business, he bankrupts whole country?

What policies for past 8 years did not work?? Were you asleep whole time, because from what I remember, due to obstruction by republicans, NOTHING has been done.

Not doing anything on ANY of issues and blaming it on others... let's see what they will do now. What excuse will they have now for their obstructionism, because they could not do anything right even in time of Bush.

We, all of us have to stop just blindly following parties and support whoever supports America. We have to also learn to work together for the common good. This adversarial hostility on both sides has to be replaced with dialog. We need to make this country one with liberty and justice for ALL. If we can do that, we will be ok.

And also, give Mr. Trump a chance.

Not going to happen. The progressives on the left have no capability to listen or give any ground. If Trump or any member of his team try to offer any olive branch it will be turned into more hate. That much has been learned over the last few years and been firmly enforced over the last two days. I just heard Michael Moorer give a self important speech about how they need to escalate and march, to get 1m out to disrupt the inauguration. His hate filled rhetoric seemed never ending. Only the police and the national guard can handle this now and the sooner they are engaged and plan for the coming chaos, the better.

Who cares? Hillary won the popular vote against Obama, too, in 2008. BY NEARLY 300,000 VOTES.

Where were Democrats, back then, complaining about the popular vote winner losing? Where? Your own party stabbed the popular vote winner in the back and you guys did NOTHING about it.

Obama won with the most delegates but the LEAST votes. Democrats LOOOOOOVED these kinds of *unfair* rules, back then.

1 person/1 vote, my butt.

I don't think you guys understand what is going on here. We just elected a man who's campaign tactic and style was similar to that of George Wallace and made promises to build a wall, round people up, ban Muslims and is in a position in which he could appoint SCOTUS justices that may overturn a ruling that gave women the freedom to do with their bodies as they choose.

Oh we understand perfectly what's going on here.

Trump critics are full of SNIP.

That's RIGHT.

The only group that gets to go around banning THINGS, and PEOPLE are Trump critics.

Just as ceo's,bankers, gun owners, and the people that democratically elected Trump.

Anyone that thinks the popular vote means anything shouldnt be allowed to vote to begin with.

Because they sure don't have a clue how our electoral process works.

Hell go back to high school and retake the civics course.

Then maybe.

Wasn't it Trump supporter/fan Omarosa who said they're keeping a "list"?

Sure sounds like Trump plans to attack people who he doesn't like. That sure sounds like what you're accusing others of doing Neo.

Shame on you.

Of course the popular vote means something, it just doesn't currently factor in to how elections are won.

You are deliberately downplaying something you don't like.

Shame on you.

Electoral VOTES determine our elections.

The first one to 270 WINS.

End of STORY.
