Actually, not that it matters, but in most presidential elections, the winner has also won the majority of the popular vote. This is the 5th time the winner did not also win the popular vote, the most recent previous being Bush II in 2004.

Yes but Ante was also citing third partiy cvotes and other things to show by know means did most of the people in the country vote for Trump.

My point is even when Obama won bug he did not get more than half of all elegible voters, so no one really ever has a mandate from most of the people.
