Seems like you woke up to a country you were woefully out of touch with before you even went to sleep.

You really need to calm down and breathe...maybe go back to sleep until tomorrow, when some of the emotional idiocy is over and people might be able to think intelligently.

Your fears are only that--fears. If you truly latch on to anything that a presidential candidate says as being fact, then you haven't been through many elections, have you? And if you have, you should know that pandering promises are just to garner votes.

Hopefully the Roe-v-Wade decision is overturned (I happen to think that all lives matter), but I don't think that this is going to be one of his main issues because he was pro-choice well before he became a (not-very-good) politician.

The president can't just abolish the 4th Amendment on his own, no matter how hard Bush and Obama tried. Quell your hyperbole on this one.

As for the military, I always feel bad for my Service-Member brothers (well, I'm a veteran) when they have to deploy to unnecessary wars. Hell, my wife was deploy during Operation Iraqi Freedom, so I get that sentiment. But we'll just have to see how he acts as Commander-In-Chief, because he's never done anything like that, so all of his inflammatory pandering concerning his foreign-policy dick waiving is just that--pandering. We'll have to wait and see...hopefully he'll be better than Obama has been concerning sending our military off to fight for other countries, which is NOT the purpose of the military.

And concerning the rest of the world, they don't need or deserve an apology. The Constitution still exists, and you have zero proof that he will try as hard as Obama has to circumvent it.

You talk about the weight that ignorance and fear hold in people's hearts, but then base an entire thread on your fears of the future, which by definition, are ignorant, because the claimed inevitabilities have not come to fruition yet.

This is America--just because you don't like the president elect doesn't mean that this isn't America, the same that, at the start of Obama's second term, it was also still America, even though I despised how he abused my vote for him during his first term and I voted for someone else.

Stop with the fear mongering and asininity--you're creating the problem that you note is the reason why America voted for Trump.

you seem to have forgotten that he was an extremely successful and rich businessman before he was a reality T.V. star, and even better he`s not a politician.he doesn`t have to kiss ass or spend the next 4 years planning his re-election because unlike politicians he has a REAL job to go back too when his term is over.

career politicians only care about getting re-elected and kissing the right asses so that when their political careers are over they can become lobbyists.

I'm perfectly calm. I actually wrote that on my phone laying in bed haha. I don't know Trump, so all I can do is judge him on his words and ideas. All the things I spoke about in the OP are things he's wished for personally.

Trump isn't a career politician. He's a businessman, which is one of many reasons he won.

With a different purpose. Businessmen have a responsibility to their investors. As a new politician, Trump will have to dramatically expand his role.

True enough, but hopes and dreams don't drive reality's bus, and I think that most of what he has said during the election process has been half-hearted claims backed by even less-hearted intentions.

But we'll see, because I've liked some of his wants, and not others. Hopefully he doesn't only focus on the latter.

I don't know Trump personally. So I have no idea if his claims are half-hearted or exactly what he wants to do. How can you make that judgement without knowing a person?

You are a typical SORE LOSER. You can't handle that your team lost, so now you want to minutely dissect the corpse.

It's wrong to examine the next commander in chiefs statements up to this point? What's that thing we're supposed to deny around here? And why shouldn't the president be looked at minutely? ANY president should. Trump, Hillary, Obama, whoever. These are just my thoughts on Trump. Take it or leave it.

I have made my peace...gloat on dude.

Not angry at all. I sincerely hope every thing I mentioned in the OP doesn't come to pass and I'm wrong. A lot of people on here want to judge Trump on things beside his words, and I think that's a dangerous thing to do. No matter who you are.

Nope, It was just a question. I'm taking Trump at his word and seeking unity.

Women, I'm sorry the government will now have control over your bodies since Trump said he'll repeal Roe V. Wade. Welcome to the dark ages of womens rights.

Just an FYI but he got 52% of the women vote.

We are living in the dark ages of womens rights. Most women don't believe that a pregnant mother should murder their baby. Because murder is bad.
