I think the important question is, did you cry tonight?

If she had won and a Trump supporter had made a congratulatory thread I wouldn't have turned around and needled them over the victory.

Yep. you are trash just like that loser you backed and tried to pass off as a "presidential" candidate.

You mean the loser that won the popular vote but lost due to a outdated system that screwed Al Gore over?

I have not posted in this forum since the video with Billy Bush came out. I felt enraged, disenfranchised, disgusted, and to be honest, not a part of America. It does not feel good to feel that way.

I cast my vote for Donald Trump for many reasons. But one was forefront in my mind: I want to be part of America again. I want to be a citizen, not be considered a second-class citizen, a racist, a sexist, or anything else I am not. I am sure today that I was not as alone as I was beginning to feel.

I now thank you sincerely for this thread, for having the cajones to admit defeat gracefully. You regained some respect from me. I don't know if that matters to you, but it is the truth.

Rest assured, I will do what I have done since I watched the Reagan victory in 1980, but felt I could not do under Obama. I will make every effort to hold this President to his promises. I will speak out loudly when I believe he is in the wrong.

To everyone else here who may be mourning Clinton's loss: I hope we can once again become the shining star of civility and intelligent thought we once were. ATS is a special place for me, a home online I can come to in my times of need. It has been damaged. Let us rebuild and reunite. Antediluvian has lit the way; let us follow him.

Or they could just tell you to get stuffed and stop being so arrogant.

Trump won. Good for him. Good for his supporters. No need to show your true colours and gloat and ram it down peoples throats and demand apologies. That is arrogance and should be treated with utter disdain.

Other than the name calling, great thread.

Now, if you and the others who were so militant in your attacks put a little bit of that effort into coming up with ideas to solve the many issues we face as a nation, we can all work together and build ourselves a better home. Health care, border security, economic growth seem to be important to a good portion of the US right now. Fixing those things would be an amazing start to becoming a nation we can all be proud to be apart of.

I hope you are sincere with your message and I hope the others on your side can put their ego's aside to work for a better tomorrow. I can't speak for everyone, but I will be happier to work with you rather than against you.

I am not surprised at all to see you post a thread like this. As a Trump supporter, you were among my favorite posters on ATS. I found your posts challenged my thoughts and made me think more carefully about how I voted.

Without you and the other Hillary supporters or third party people that disliked Trump, ATS would have been boring about politics in the past year or so. I know there are some people that will be sore winners or losers, but I just want to let you and every other person that was critical of Trump regardless of how they feel today that I appreciated your contributions and hope that you will continue to be critical of my thoughts and beliefs; it makes me a better person.

Now we shall see if Trump is effective as a President or not. If he isn't, I am sure you will find me agreeing with you in criticizing him in the future.

Oh and spiritualzombie, Buzzywigs, Muse, Buster2010, Swills and UnBreakable.

What a joyous day for all of us.

Yeah we get to sit back and laugh as your orange messiah wrecks this nation. Because now everything will be the Republicans fault.

There ya go, that's the normal reaction to a crushing humiliating loss.

No safe spaces needed for you and Kali!

Rage, rage against the dying of the light!

And Kali, introvert, krazysh0t, oh and let's not forget kruphix!

Congratulations.

I know you all are very happy and excited that your man was elected, but time will tell if that was a good thing or not.

Honestly, I am very surprised. I gave my fellow Americans too much credit. Now I know better.

Let's all join together and celebrate the opportunity to "DRAIN THE SWAMP"!!

I know I would love to see a Congress that looks out for the folks again...

I knew each day, when I opened up ATS, I would see something new posted by you, instead of getting angry about what you posted, I understood what you were doing... you weren't alone, plenty of folks on ATS were doing the same...

No one can say you didn't "fight the good fight"... KUDOS to you for your effort..

I may not agree with your political leanings, but I certainly respect your right to hold them

Well, if you really feel like your fellow American let you down, you can always join the celebrities that vow to leave the US if Trump won. It's sad, I would have hoped you would be happy the democratic process worked and the will of the people was heard. You do have the moral high ground in that the system wasn't rigged after all.

Very decent of you antideluvian.

I felt the same when Gore conceded to Bush, not fair but it's done so we must come together again.
Let's hope half the promises made this campaign come to fruition.
People need jobs, hope for a better future and a common sense of what makes us all Americans.

You guys would like that, wouldn't you? I've already seen the posts talking about purging us "less desirables" from the country.

t's sad, I would have hoped you would be happy the democratic process worked and the will of the people was heard.

The process did work, but I'm not so sure about the will of the people. Clinton won the popular vote, it seems.

You do have the moral high ground in that the system wasn't rigged after all.

Of course it wasn't rigged. That entire nonsense was a conspiracy created to explain a Trump loss.
