I find it sad that some people can't see the humor in this thread.

We need a wee bit of gloating. FFS did no one listen to the media last night? The whole time the results were coming in, we were being called uneducated idiots. On TV, by the MSM. And Gale King was actually asking the black baby jesus to come save us?

It was just awful. So I just laughed at them.

Why are you laughing?

White, blue-collar workers turned out in record numbers and they voted for Trump. There are plenty of liberals and independents in that mix. Trump's message appealed to all those guys who have lost their jobs in the rust belt.

Also, Trump is not a conservative. Half of his platform is conservative, and half of it is something else. He will need to build a coalition on both sides to get anything done.

While I understand the exuberance of Trump supporters, myself included, I suggest that the gloating needs to last no longer than one day. We need to be united as one country. That means all of us. Republicans, Democrats, Libertarians, Independents etc. Get it out of your system now and then extend the olive branch.

Liberals who thought this election was in the bag, lick your tears and wounds now, next time pay attention!

The Democrats Need To Understand The Republicans Own All Three Branches Of The Government. They May As Well Pack Up And Leave.
