An odd experience I hope can be explained.

We have a highway that was resurfaced and for a stretch of it I noticed a weird trumpeting sound. I called it the Trumpets of Gideon or like the HARP sounds they get when messing with the ionosphere. Its cool and I guess there's some kind of new surface material or paving technique they've used. Just one stretch for about a mile or so.

I have noticed that when driving on different surfaces also. I think the most prevalent noise is when the surface is cut for drainage.
