He wasn't proposing to do anything about it, he desired a specific outcome and he got that.
That's not correct actually, in May Farage spoke to the tabloids and said that he would fight for a second referendum on Britain in Europe if the
remain campaign won by a narrow margin.
Calling a small defeat for his leave camp ‘unfinished business’, he predicted a second referendum on Europe.
He based this on 52% voting in, 48% out.
Back then, he told the Mirror: ‘In a 52-48 referendum this would be unfinished business by a long way. If the remain campaign win two-thirds to
one-third that ends it.’
Yuh see, he was going to push for a second referendum because it would have been toooooo close, (aka unfinished business) while what happened was that
the result was the same figures in reverse, therefore he shut his gub up....and yes, he even set up an online poll to do what he said he would do, and
that poll got hi-jacked by the 'Remain' voters in the millions.
A comedy of errors! fecking hilarious.
As Gorty says, Dumb and Dumber.
BTW, you do know that the proposed referendum was brought forward from 2017 by Cameron, how many millennial births would there have been, say
1999-2000? quite a few youngsters who playground is Europe I can imagine. But then, they couldn't vote, since they were not 18.
