Candidate A or B?
Candidate A is someone you agree with on most every issue. They will appoint justices and officials you support. They publicly say things you agree with as well.
Candidate A is also a murderer and a child rapist

Candidate B you agree with nothing they say. They will appoint justices on the opposite side of the spectrum of what you see as right. All there public policies you strongly disagree with
Candidate B is an honest law abiding citizen, who is neither violent nor sadistic.

The truth is there are murderers, rapists, etc. who identify as Republicans and as Democrats. Ideally you would want someone who is both a decent person and who represents your values. In this election it looks more and more like both candidates may be despicable human beings, so either you vote based on their respective platform or you go 3rd party.

I would vote for Trump ... Landslide ... Expect It!! LOL

Of course ... there are candidates from the other party who will be getting my vote as well.

I just can't stomach a candidate I see not telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

None of them.
I cannot in clear conscience vote for somebody who doesn't really represent me.
Besides that if things are really so bad there is always Canada or Mexico or Australia...

ok so you think trump is honest. I could see how Hilary is not but if you think Trump is "telling the whole truth and nothing but" then you need to lay off the kool aid

I would refuse to accept the choices as given, and organise repeated marches on Parliament until alternative, acceptable candidates were bought foward. I would organise such protest as would crush the entire financial and municipal system, so large as to be impossible to police, such that no barricade could stand before us, such that no force could be applied to scatter us, such that no opposing force would dare up the ante for fear of being torn limb from limb.

I would be happy if the elections get called off/delayed until we can get some half way decent human beings to run

IN this specific election, I am not voting for the person running for President, i am voting for the party platform I believe in, especially on social issues.

Why would a child-rapist and murderer be running for president?

that is a whole other question and i am not saying we do have that in this election but reading through some threads on here there is indications that either candidate may have committed such atrocities and both have very questionable ethics so my question is basically should we be voting based on people or platform. I believe that platform takes precedence. I do not think it matters near as much who the candidate is as much as what platform they are running on. Some people base there vote on the decency of the candidate.

I'd vote for the person who didn't cheat during the debates.

so either you vote based on their respective platform or you go 3rd party.

Or you don't cast a vote for that particular position, which is my answer.

A choice to vote for the lesser of two evils is no choice at all, if you prefer to not vote for evil.

Well seeing as Candidate A would be in jail for murdering and raping, they wouldn't even be running.

Unless they really didn't do any of those things and it's just slanderous made up stories by the opposing candidate.

That would take the type of political backbone that is sorely lacking in these here United States. Over the decades we voted ourselves into this predicament. I mean, the quality and the fibre of the political candidates who become available each election cycle is the direct result of how (poorly) we chose to vote in the previous. We now have to vote ourselves out of this mess. First and foremost we have to use (figuratve) dynamite and wrecking equipment on the established political order. That is why we are all voting for Trump.

I reject the two option paradigm, I would vote for a third candidate that I believe in hoping enough people wake up to open the third party door.

just because someone is anti-establishment does not make them better then the status quo. Things can always get worse and they will get worse with Trump. Probably worse with Hillary as well but not to the extent of Trump. I think we are all going to miss Obama in the years to come.

John Wayne Gacy was a convicted pedophile(later serial killer) at the time the secret service cleared him to guide First Lady Rosalynn Carter around Chicago in 1975...

She wrote on the picture "To John Gacy. Best wishes. Rosalynn Carter"

Democrats historically love child molesting murderers...
