It's more the case that here are these innocent children, dressed in Halloween costumes, all holding hands in a field. In the background, the car is burning. I guess that driver didn't have any candy.

That was noticed immediately

Makes me think maybe these kids were left with their Older possibly crazy siblings on Halloween,
when all hell broke loose. Or ... a weenie roast, this is also a possibility.

This one i can't figgure out if that's the teacher or they invited the klan over for milk and cookies.

Assuming it's not photoshopped.

It was from Russia yes? They were notorious for experimenting on prisoners and psychiatric patients. The photo is black and white so probably about the 60s? Even in the US 60s the psychological experiments were borderline cruel before strict guidelines were brought in
