Dads Army Creator Jimmy Perry Dies Age 93.

This is sad news, however he lived to a good age.

Dad's Army is my all time favourite British Sitcom. Very original and was acted by a superb cast ( most of which are no longer with us)

The BBC still repeat the whole series to this day, due to in endearing popularity. Among his other credits are It Ain't Half Hot Mum and Hi-de-Hi.

Late starters take heart: The first episode of Dad's Army went out in 1968, meaning that Mr Perry made his breakthrough success at the tender age of 45!
