isn't it more about the inability TO FIND a sexual partner that's the disability?

Yes, and it lets all of those that do not want to find one, off the hook.
This world is going down the toilet with a flush that you can start to hear.

In order to find someone of the opposite sex attractive, don't you have to look up from your smart phone and instead of talking about yourself to others, you actually have to ask others about themselves?

Call me crazy but, seems that's someone most people don't understand anymore.

You Bulshten, double check and make sure it's not the Onion or some other parody, this can't be real .
You know, I just found out a friend lost her fight with brain cancer, and the WHO's concern is for a of bunch self absorbed types probably addicted to porn or computer games that can't get off their asses to communicate with the opposite sex long enough to reproduce.. sorry I am a bit tick off right now that they didn't come up with a cure that killed my moms, dad and now friend.

It doesn't mean "disability" like...here's your check and your parking permit. It's a proposed extension of the definition of "infertile" meant to help more people gain access to fertility treatments and surrogates.

Here is a link that explains it in less hyperbolic, click bait terms.

This presents a dilemma. It would be nice to have a handicapped license plate, but I think I would rather pay the ticket than explain my disability.

Would my health insurance be required to pay for the "professionals" to help me treat my disability? It is a pre-existing condition.

Ok read it but still not down with it, if there is nothing wrong with you medically speaking but for whatever reason "YOU" chose to be single and sexless but want a child..naaw you foot that bill for surrogates and other cost, that's just cray, I can see if the person is in need of psychiatric help then maybe, or else if you put no effort in, you don't breed, nature's population control.

I agree in that respect. The people who have a right to be upset about this are people who are truly and medically infertile who may be put further down the list for treatment because an "infertile" single, sexless person wants a child.

Strangely, this kind of vibes with my personal, crazy pet theory that TPTB are concerned not about over-population, but long term under-population and the catastrophic mess that may bring in a few hundred years.

You know ... some people are just horrifically miserable people that a dog wouldn't want to spend time with. Why is that anyone else's problem but their own and why should I feel sorry for that person and be compelled to spend time trying to "fix" their problems?

Adopt some kids people, lots out there that need a home. Take care of your "urges" in private.
