many years ago my mother found a ring I think is masonic. It has in the middle,a double headed eagle with a diamong on the middle of the body...on the band it has the square and dividers with a g in the middle,it also has a red cross,a black pyramid with what looks to be a red eye in the middle, and a red cross with a white flower in nthe middle. Anyone have a clue what they mean?

Have you tried googling it to see what if any images you could find that look like your moms ring?

We have masons here so maybe they can shed some light for you.

1) A picture would help

2) To be candid, the modern day Masons are not the same as the Masons from the colonial days. It's essentially just a club these days (and based on the friends I have that are Mason "brothers".... I can't say I'm all that impressed). As it relates to the ring, even if it is masonic.... its worth whatever the scrap-metal will get ya.
I was driving down the block and saw a garage sale a few weekends ago. I pulled over because they had so cool custom-looking bicycles. Also, mixed in with all the nick nacks there was a leather bound Mason Bible (I think that's what they call it).

from the OP,

on the band it has the square and dividers with a g in the middle

the masons symbol is the square and compass with a g in the center.

plus they use other symbols mentioned.
