The Dumb Movies We Love

This thread is about movies you consider to be stupid but you still love.

St. Elmo's Fire (1985) is my first pick. It encapsulates the lack of values of the 1980s. It's completely cartoonish. There isn't a character with any depth in the film. It's nihilistic, shallow, pointless, and lame. It's everything that I try to stand against in my personal life. That's why I like it. I like to experience things that are unlike me vicariously through art. I hope it's unlike me anyway.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and The Waterboy with Adam Sandler. These two movies still make me laugh out loud every time i watch. So funny. Another favorite is The Jerk.
