Oh no! This is terrible news!

Always a positive, thoughtful and intelligent poster, someone who I always agreed with, so I rarely posted anything to her, as I usually post arguments. LOL

I learned a lot from her, she will be sorely missed. Wishing her a speady recovery!

Glad she got you and her animals to help her along!



We'll all be eagerly awaiting her recovery and return

Stroke runs in my family, and I've a had some mini strokes myself. I found this TED talk helpful and hopeful. Maybe you folks will too!

Please tell BH that I have so much respect for her and her posts. I will definitely miss her on the boards here! Lots of love to her and those around her helping her get better (that's you OMS).

Many thanks; yes, we are doing OK. Some family is close enough geographically they are helping out.

Thanks so much! She LOVED the dog picture! The TED talk is a bit beyond her right now, she can't concentrate enough yet, but thanks, it'll be here when she gets to that point.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear this.

Please give her my best. We've known each other for a while now, and she's one of my favorite people here, even if we never agree on much of anything unimportant. Though it's amazing how on the really important stuff, we do.

Both of you are in my thoughts, and prayers. Take good care of her, and yourself.

You get better, girl. We'll miss having you around here.

Give her my regards and wishes for a speedy recovery, she knows how much I respect her.

Oh sure! Of course! I understand that! The video was more for you than her.

Just know, the woman giving the talk, up on stage in front of a large crowd, is a woman who is talking about her own massive stroke. So, full recovery does happen!

No. No. No. No. No. DAMMIT! This is a blow to our community, agree or disagree with her - BH is among the best of us.

Please pass on my best wishes for a full and speedy recovery. AND my love and affection. I will keep her in my prayers, thoughts, etc. Sending nothing but good vibes and virtual hugs her way.

Tell her to screw the internet and this crazy election, I'll post five anti-Trump threads just to make up for her absence .

Many thanks, and will do. I was just up talking to BH and her sister, and the sister started telling me about that exact video. I'll definitely check it out, thanks!

Oh dear, this is both bad and good news. I'm very sorry this happened, but I am grateful BH is alive and will hopefully recover.

This explaines why I haven't seen BH in awhile. My sister at 45 had 5 strokes in a 2 year period. It was horrible. Took to her 50th birthday to regain at least 80% of her memory and motor function. Doctors ordered an I.Q. test after a year, she pegged at 141. She was mad because she was 163 prior to the strokes.

Hopefully BH recovers in time. I will send good vibes.
