They are not IGNORING the problem. The US and UK governments are RELYING on the problem.

Our views are not mutually exclusive. I was only comparing the reaction of many countries of the world to the situation in Syria to the reactions of those countries to the situation in Yemen. I was trying to elicit a dialogue such as what has occurred in this thread. I was trying to make people think about what's happening. The reason is simply because while it's apparent to many of us that what's happening is as crooked as can possibly be, most of the world seems unaware that's the case. My goal was to wake people up.
