I wandered through that other when
Of I and you and back again
Of shortcut there along the way
From you to I and then away

I hasten there along that path
Where love has soured then to wrath
Where pout and pander own display
Where shade and shadow often play

Yet still in ignorance remain
Of you the ball and I the chain
We are defined hypocrisy
