BREAKING [UPDATE]: Two Police Officers Killed – Shooter “Wanted To Shoot Cops”

Two police officers were killed and a third officer was injured in Palm Springs, CA Saturday afternoon after the officers responded to a “family disturbance” call said Palm Springs Police Chief Bryan Reyes.

Witnesses said they heard what sounded like machine guns and 10-30 gunshots.

Still waiting on more information. A manhunt is underway.

Reports say the suspect stood over an officer and executed him by firing 4 additional rounds.

Not sure where those reports are coming from.

The two officers killed are Jose G. Vega, a 35-year veteran; Lesley Zerebny, 27 years old, a new mother. Zerebyny’s newborn child is about 4 months old and she had just returned to work.

Every dead man is a sad news, specially straight before going to bed. I'll pray for them.

For sure someone pissed off on the officers wanted to have fun, People should brake TV and go outside for a portion of fresh air.

Oh no! Palm Springs is my backyard! This is terrible news. Condolences to the officers friends', colleagues and family!

At the same time that was happening, there were two cop cars and a van filled with county mental health counselors dealing with a domestic violence disturbance just 2 doors down from my house. Just another day for some, the last day for others!

So sad!
