Again kiddo, you don't understand how this works. You saying I don't understand something, has to be demonstrated through you establishing yourself as a credible subject matter expert.

Casting aspersions on my character is not the way to do that. Especially as you do not know what A Pharmaceutical chemist is.

Once again, you have done yourself no favors. Unless your goal was to appear to be a petulant child, and stomp around.

A sigil is a constructed symbol, used in magic. The word Sigil etymologically comes from the Latin sigillum (from memory) which means symbol.

Prior to the modern occult revival in 18th and 19th century, Alchemists were using them. However historically the idea is as old as cave paintings.

So yes you can use them in things occult. Then again some graffiti could also be seen a sigil too

Learn how to make a sigil, and stop believing in some weird druid stuff that doesnt pre-date Abraham..

Oh look, and there we have it. An Abrahamic pushing his narrow minded biases on me. Once again you've shown yourself to be an illogical individual.

Prove your Abrahamic stuff, is superior and not weird. Go on. For the record I learned my Sigil making from a Kaballistic practitioner.

Narrow minded organized religions has over 50% of the entire population..
I think, i believe and know, all three religions know the art of sigil making, most of the stuff you know comes from 600AD..
What you do is practice the rituals, nothing more..

Again neighbour, what exactly of my practices do you know again? What of what you know have you shared?

You have not shown that you understand what a sigil is, how it is made, what it does, nothing. I've shared some of what I know. As I said, I don't really care what you think. But you do rate yourself, so that thought is an anathema to you right?

Funny thing is you've gone and tried to turn this into a religious argument. Do you think this is something which will irk me? As opposed to say, reinforce that you seem to be here not to contribute?

So I again, urge you to prove I am a liar. That my ideas on spirituality are weird (state some of those ideas), or better still, illustrate that you know something, and where you learned it.

You have illustrated you are a bigot.

That would be because I'm not a cult leader
I am also not lying here. It seems that the fact I'm not an Abrahamic practitioner is the issue? I could be wrong.

Can you U2U me about what that spell means? And to go a little bit backwards.. i researched sigils but i feel that basic google info won't do the proper deep explanation behind it... how and why it works and where can its power go to.. as i said i would be most satisfied if i got a proper mentor or at least someone who would introduce me to the true occult theachings and not some quasi new age cult fantasies

The posturing reminds me of a bad 60s Dr Doom impression

Without even the most basic researching, just throw mud and see what sticks seems to be the order of the day

Learning a universal symbolic language based on observations was the only thing people learned before mandatory school was applied.

The danger lies with that humans believe in some very weird s# when they think someone has an answer.. You gave an answer, i didnt, but i told them you are lying.. Simple

No lies from Noinden, however your derailment is fairly overt

After someone named Crowley went apes# in the woods claiming himself as the "Superweirdo demon summoner"

And now you truly show your ignorance throwing Crowley into the mix. Better stick with the rubbish you've spewed so far before you make your self look sillier.....so far you have thrown these clangers...

There is a universal doctrine to sigils, and then there is your own.. Which also got people killed.

The reason sigil came was cause there wasnt a basic script language or numbers, it was like painting a picture with symbols.. If someone was to make a potion with herbs, and the formula was wrong, people died.. Doing the ritual with some magnesium to enhance the placebo effect was really s#.

Remember in the 1920s, highest form is sigil magic became, universal.. Before that, it was anyones ball game or fake potions.

Learning a universal symbolic language based on observations was the only thing people learned before mandatory school was applied.

Oh no we will talk about the SATOR square here

The Sator square may be read top-to-bottom, bottom-to-top, left-to-right, and right-to-left. It is a four times palandrome, and has been used in magical workings

S A T O R
A R E P O
T E N E T
O P E R A
R O T A S

The earliest form of this was found in the ruins of Pompii, and has a possible meaning (this is speculative) of "The farmer Arepo has [as] works wheels [a plough]"; that is, the farmer uses his plough as his form of work.

The how and why it works? How does something occult work? You will find a dozen or more explanations.

As for "true occult teachings"? Yeah that is bad thinking. The New age has some power in it, though it does not know what to do with it. Neopaganism is reaching back to older ideas. I'd go looking for the reconstructed faiths, as opposed to the revived ones. The latter tend to go for the "image" vs the "substance" of something.

Also Crowely, the Golden Dawn, and other Victorian era occultists are a good place to start if that is your bag. Myself I tend to stick to my ancestral methods.

But remember I'm a liar according to some

Which sort of makes me wonder WHY? We had a couple of people post "don't use those, they are dangerous". Then this numpty comes in. Eventually it comes down to an ABrahamic vs Pagan thing. As if he(?) had been waiting for one to fight.

I am a Christian by faith ,but I am also loosely understanding Occult sources, and WELL respecting practitioners as JUST other people who have different beliefs,NOT the judgemental clown stating you're going to hell.
THAT'S not my job and I would GUESSS that sort of thing is KNOWN to both parties, right or wrong.
AND I haven't been cursed just blessed.

..I like the nifty alphabets and runes...it helps with fantasy art.

Glad you replied. Funny thing is, Sigils should be Christian friendly in many ways, given most forms are the Hebrew Kaballah.

You want a nice alpahabet to play with? Try Ogam/Ogham, it was most likely put together by the early Irish Monks. It contains pre-Christian Knowledge (well most likely it does) in the 104 different correspondences for the 25 odd letters in it. I tend ot only use the first 20, as the last 5 (the forfeda or "extra letters) are for writing in Latin and Greek, not Irish.
