I think that may have been the most anticlimactic thing I've ever experienced. I stayed up until 5:30 in the morning thinking I was about to witness a historic event only to hear Assange talk about his book being half off this week.

Actually Assange has made claims about his data dumps bringing Clinton down. He actually said it would bring her down before the 1st debate.

In an interview with ITV -

Assange: Our view which we have already stated is if the evidence that the FBI has is enough for a grand jury to indict already… But a prosecutor has to ask a grand jury to indict. And if a prosecutor doesn’t ask, a grand jury won’t indict. But our next leak can bring her down because it is something that FBI can’t overlook!

Rattansi: When will be the date when you will release this leak?

Assange: I will not reveal the exact date but I can promise you this, will Bring Hillary Down Before The Debate Stage On September 26th.

That was such a crappy production, the few other wikileaks things I have watched did look much more polished, I still think he probably cut a deal so he can get out of the Embassy.

Congratulations, you're quoting a third rate site which is reporting false information.

Did you watch that interview with Rattansi? I did. I do not recall Assange promising to bring Clinton down. If you were paying attention to this tenth anniversary event, Assange also fielded a question by a journalist asking if he has material which will 'destroy' Clinton. He carefully repeated his statement that the material is 'interesting' and 'significant'.

Unless you can show me a video of Assange actually saying that he will bring Clinton down, i will remain unconvinced. The video you linked quoted Assange as saying that his material will "provide enough evidence to indict Hillary Clinton." That's not promising to bring her down, that's offering enough evidence for prosecutors to indict Hillary, if they want to.

Assange has been drastically misquoted over the past 6 months, so you are going to have to try harder.

The point in question starts at 24:07. Assange says everything your source says, with the exception of bringing down Clinton.



That means the report you quoted is false and misleading.

Heres what Ive gathered from reading the last few pages of comments:

1. There was no major "reveal".
2. Instead, Assange said that there will be various information released over the next 10 weeks.
3. He took the opportunity to promote a book.
4. Alex had a melt down (cant wait for the video).
5. Some think that Assange may have been threatened, possibly in real time (someone in the room).

Sound about right?

In all fairness, Assange doesn't deserve the pitchforks he's getting now.
If november 8 comes and no major revelations have been made, then you can bring out the pitchforks.

Lets just sit this one out, and see what's gonna happen over the coming weeks.

The thing is, Julian will have known full well what everyone was expecting tonight - and he did nothing to try and quell those expectations. Reputable inside sources either heavily indicated or stated clearly that there would be a massive drop today. Assange knows we don't have the time to keep waiting week after week, month after month, always on the edge of our seats waiting for "the big one". If Hillary gets in its all over, so there is no time to waste. What happened tonight is puzzling. It reeks like a dog turd hiding behind the couch.
And the infowars livestream was hilarious. Can't wait to watch the highlight reel.
