Recently a new alternative news outlet surfaced on the web called Newsbud, I have always appreciated Sibel Edmunds from back in the early 2000's and her effort to give folks truth, she's the founder of this new venture. Last week, Newsbud announced an addition to their staff, Kurt Nimmo who's name some may recall from his books or lead writer at Infowars.. His first report was posted this evening and it deals with a GOOGLE venture called JIGSAW, and goes through it's birth , goals and where it's at now, and Kurt seems to think this is an all out effort to SILENCE Alternative sources of information... With the POTUS handing over ICANN to global control, could this be the beginning of the end of free speech on EARTH?

Here's a link to Newsbud's about page so you can check them out

I can't figure out if they started that way, or were infiltrated.
Kinda like fakebook.

It is starting to get stupid.

-influencing politics?
-Don't be evil?

gtfo

I already won't use google unless proxied then startpage filtered. I am axing all my Google emails.
Too unsecure for business.

I called this garbage with the FCC move, then the AI talk.

These clowns would be hit with an anti trust suit, if it wasn't them running it.

Edit added: Thanks for sharing the video, the direction things are going is starting to get disturbing.

Here's a Wired article on Jigsaw from Sep 7 2016, lauding the use of Jigsaw, to try and influence folks who are seeking information about ISIS, and it's ability to create results to information that refutes the ideology..

Google’s Clever Plan to Stop Aspiring ISIS Recruits

Google has built a half-trillion-dollar business out of divining what people want based on a few words they type into a search field. In the process, it’s stumbled on a powerful tool for getting inside the minds of some of the least understood and most dangerous people on the Internet: potential ISIS recruits. Now one subsidiary of Google is trying not just to understand those would-be jihadis’ intentions, but to change them.

Jigsaw, the Google-owned tech incubator and think tank—until recently known as Google Ideas—has been working over the past year to develop a new program it hopes can use a combination of Google’s search advertising algorithms and YouTube’s video platform to target aspiring ISIS recruits and ultimately dissuade them from joining the group’s cult of apocalyptic violence. The program, which Jigsaw calls the Redirect Method and plans to launch in a new phase this month, places advertising alongside results for any keywords and phrases that Jigsaw has determined people attracted to ISIS commonly search for. Those ads link to Arabic- and English-language YouTube channels that pull together preexisting videos Jigsaw believes can effectively undo ISIS’s brainwashing—clips like testimonials from former extremists, imams denouncing ISIS’s corruption of Islam, and surreptitiously filmed clips inside the group’s dysfunctional caliphate in Northern Syria and Iraq.

Sounds like a good use, something to try a clamp down on radicalizing folks into future ISIS recruits?

Then, less than 2 weeks later we have reports on how Jigsaw will be used to combat online trolls?

Google has a new plan to fight internet trolls, and it starts and ends with AI

Jigsaw, an organization that once existed as Google’s think tank, has now taken on a new life of its own and has been tasked with using technology to address a range of geopolitical issues. The latest software to come out of the group is an artificial intelligence tool known as Conversation AI. As Wired reports, “the software is designed to use machine learning to automatically spot the language of abuse and harassment — with, Jigsaw engineers say, an accuracy far better than any keyword filter and far faster than any team of human moderators.

Conversation AI learns and automatically flags problematic language, and assigns it an “attack score” that ranges from 0 to 100. A score of 0 suggests that the language in question is not at all abusive, whereas a score of 100 suggests that it is extremely harmful.

And it looks like it’s working. As Wired notes, “Jigsaw has now trained Conversation AI to spot toxic language with impressive accuracy. Feed a string of text into its Wikipedia harassment-detection engine and it can, with what Google describes as more than 92 percent certainty and a 10-percent false-positive rate, come up with a judgment that matches a human test panel as to whether that line represents an attack.”

hmmmm. add in the efforts already by YT, Google, FB & Twitter to shape the news we see read & watch on the internet, and we may just have ourselves a battle for the 1st amendment....

The enemy now has control of ICANN, when the 1st amendment ends will it be a bang or a whimper? I would guess whimper, as TPTB slowly replace freedom of speech, with controlled groupthink...

What challenging times we live in...

That's a pretty decent connection of dots in that vid, thanks for sharing!

I had to think of this fakebook news service and how that ties in to all those efforts to control information. Awesome combination, think of it as FAKESAW.

How's that for new levels of creepiness?

You can feel the invisible hands at work... YouTubes recent announcement of it's YouTube HEROES, which is just a group of folks who feel empowered that they can shut down, remove, demonetize content based on their collective group of hive minded minions..

It's happening in REAL TIME....

YouTube heroes, heroes of 9/11, heroes of JigsawINGSOCracy. Meanwhile (literally mean) the nobel price winner in charge assassinates his suspects with drone strikes, heroes of might and magic at work.

All Watched Over By Machines of Loving Grace (Adam Curtis) comes to mind, invisible hands explained in a british way.

in reality gog le was probably developed a long long time ago. It was most likely figured out way before the person computer.

The PC was probably developed for google. And then the internet was also built specifically for google. Like building a foundation so you can put your house on it, but all well planned in advance. So then they could get google launched and then eventually some kind of AI which will enslave and or wipe out people.

This is all depiced in the terminator. Soon it will be the end of life as we know it. I just hope this doesn't happen anytime soon
