Let's level the income playing field here for a comparison & assume little, if any, refunds. Trump and single Joe Schmoe with no dependents both pay no taxes. Let's not assume any subsidization for anything either may qualify for just yet.
Trump's millions, versus Joe's, eh, let's call it $17,000 or thereabout a year. 2 complete opposite sides of the income spectrum.
Trump uses every loophole available in the system to not pay taxes for 20 years. All's peachy, just using the stuff laid out for him there, what a savvy businessman!
Joe does the same, but Joe is considered a useless leech for not paying his fair share in taxes. Close the loopholes and institute a flat tax! Miserable bottom-feeder POS!
How the f#%# do you people manage this kind of mental gymnastics and not keel over from the G-forces?!

And currently I really don't know who I will vote for but what Hillary did with the Clinton Foundation is far dirtier than anything I've seen from Trump.
Then your apparently not looking!
You know everything about Hillary, you know nothing about Trump until he releases his tax returns!!

Maybe you could if you were better at avoiding federal taxes.
Yeah.
Wish I could figure out how to lose money and own a jet at the same time.

Would any of this have came to light, or have been a problem if he wasn't running? He'd still be using the very laws that were created against people with his mentality had he not ran. Obvious attempt at defamation is obvious.

Yeah he wasn't running then, but it is still something to look at. It isn't like the past of the canadaites are not going to be brought into question. Do we say that about everything? That since they were not running for office then it doesn't matter?
The issue is with both the IRS and the people who use the loopholes. You don't have to use the loopholes but yes in the conquest of the most profit possible you are going too. All the while the taxes still need to be collected, you know to fund things like the military, public servants, infrastructure ect. and guess who they get it from?
How many more of the wealthy are sidestepping taxes besides Trump?
Lots of them.
So obviously lets cut the taxes so they pay less than they already do!
Maybe you should learn to see that This leak is only a tiny glimpse into one year of Trump's finances from 20 years ago.

Yeah, nice try.
Schmo should get married.
So what about the 47% of americans that pay NO fed taxes?
When your as rich as Trump losses mean nothing as his assets are deep.
Boston Globe Sold by New York Times at Massive Loss
By Matthew Sheffield | August 3, 2013 | 11:35 AM EDT
The Boston Globe newspaper has been sold by its owner, the New York Times Company, for $70 million in cash to investor John W. Henry. Included in the deal were the Times’s stakes in two other smaller papers, the Worcester Telegram & Gazette and Metro Boston, a free tabloid.
The Times had purchased the Globe company in 1993 for $1.1 billion. Adjusted for inflation, the New England Media Group operation sold for just under 4 percent of the original sale price. The all-cash deal did not include an assumption of the company’s pension debts of about $110 million which will remain with the Times Company.
