The issue is with both the IRS and the people who use the loopholes. You don't have to use the loopholes but yes in the conquest of the most profit possible you are going too. All the while the taxes still need to be collected, you know to fund things like the military, public servants, infrastructure ect. and guess who they get it from?

So obviously lets cut the taxes so they pay less than they already do!

Start collecting from the 47%.

If one has loses which equal or exceed one's income one owes no tax. True.

If one has loses which equal or exceed one's income it becomes problematic when one lives a lavish life.

The New York Times company had an operational loss of over a billion dollars just a few years ago when they sold The Boston Globe for a tiny fraction of what they paid for it.

You can rest assured that their accountants took every tax break on that massive loss possible.

The New York times is a publicly traded corporation, owned by it's stockholders. Not a sole proprietorship. Not a closely held partnership. Not an LLC.

Trump's assets, on the other hand, are. He owns them. Him. He pays the taxes. Or not, if there is no income.

he refuses to pay his workers? if thats true im sure there are court cases where he was sued for non payment right?

i dont think you or i or any of the 99 percent have any idea at all what it entails or what it takes to do what Trump does. He is on an entirely different and much higher level than the majority of people. While it is true that capital carries weight in business, that does not translate to politics.
