I used to coach instructional league 5 thru 7 yr olds,I had 4 girls on my team,you should of heard laughs and jeers,till the game started and they end up losing by 7 or 8 runs,and even try cheating truth is girls tend to learn quicker,and it's fun beating a team of posers

This is so stupid. Sounds like they are just scared. I played soccer for close to 15 years, and played plenty of co-ed games. Female soccer players are extremely competitive and athletic and a lot of fun to play with, and against, in my experience.

Sounds like these people need to not take themselves so seriously, and just play the damn game for what it's worth.

This isn't about equality (lack thereof) or religion, it's about a bunch of pussies who can't set their egos aside to play the sport they signed up for.

So they forfeit; nay, if I were in charge of the association I would disband the team and tell them they are free to sign up again next year - or that there are some free spots available in the girls league.

This isn't American football or hockey, it's soccer. Soccer can be a rough sport, but on a high school level it's pretty stupid to say boys and girls can't play on the same field.

You play the ball, not the body.

I've seen some girls teams that are just flat out better than boys teams. Think those girls are afraid to get slide tackled? Hell no, if they were they wouldn't play.
