First Bernie Sanders was a sort of likeable candidate - He seemed to really believe in his leftist socialist view - Whereas many question Hillary's
leftism, especially when we consider the huge amoount of wealth funneled through the Clinton Foundation and how wealthy the Clintons have
now become.

Second Sanders never reminded me of being stupid - Did he really believe that a Socialist, who was not even a genuine Democrat, could win
the nomination over the political machine that supported Hillary ?

Third, was this part of the overall strategy of the Democrats to ignite the left in support of Hillary who was not, and some say still is not,
very popular ?

Was Bernie Sanders being encouraged all along his campaign by political strategists who knew they would never let him win ?

And finally, if he was being played as a shill, did he know it and was promised something in return ?
Or was he being played as a dupe throughout ?

What do you think

Bernie was chosen to run against Hillary so she could appear more centrist.

When she "won" the primary, she'd move left to capture Bernie's supporters.

I don't believe he is a shill at all.

Naive maybe.
In my opinion he just didn't convince enough people to follow his guidance for the United States.

I think it's well known that Democratic Socialism isn't the popular stance in America.

But the seed he planted shows it's more popular than previously believed, and given a few generations or election cycles, it could well be the popular vote.

Not a shill though.

He wasn't a shill, but I think he was blackmailed into being her puppet. He had a 30 year track record of integrity until this past July.

He is either a Shill or a Coward, regardless he stabbed everyone in the back and has made a hypocrit of himself.

All he had to do is run with the Green Party, opening up the voice of the third parties, but he decided to acquiesce, setting the stage for the horrors to come.

I'm becoming more convinced that Sanders was just meant to bring the millennial vote into the Democratic fold.

Yep. Bernie was Hillary's punk-ass-li'l-beeyotch. LOL He's still got a high paying job, too.

Quite the shill...

1. Negotiated tens of millons from Clinton Foundation in exchange for not exposing her Wall Street backers.
2. Negotiated tens of millions from Saudi Arabia royalty for not exposing their long-term plan to raise oil prices.
3. Used 20% of recent bribes to pay for access to under-ground elite shelters.

A simple leftist view is that he joined the race to raise issues that Clinton would never touch. He ran to open a more left leaning perspective that Clinton would have to move to in order to maintain her liberal credentials. She, is no liberal. She is a neo con at best.

He sees Trump, the same way that many here see Clinton. Simple. He sees that the left needs the votes of those who wanted him to win. He, will now hold his nose and work against Trump to the best of his ability. He, though an idealist, is also a pragmatist..

I think his heart was truly in his campaign. I think he really believed in his chances when he saw how many people believed in him. The nomination was stolen from him and I think he was then brutally compromised in some way behind the scenes to force him to support Hillary. Now he knows the true Hillary.

That's the way I see it.

Even if he was a shill it was a good move on Hillary's part, every major poll showed most of Bernies supporters got behind Hilary. But remember this woman has people in the trenches working their asses off, everyone knows you can't just fill up stadiums and expect to win.

How was it stolen from him? 9 out of 10 people I see repeating that huge lie are Trump supporters. She won with over 3 million more votes and got most Bernie supporters to get behind her.

How many times will you guys keep repeating that lie? It looks desperate and childish on your part.

She slimed him like she does everyone else.

The entire DNC made sure Bernie wouldn't win.

Take your sanctimonious BS somewhere else.

This past July is when Hillary's goons threatened to harm Bernie's wife JANE, unless he danced for Hillary, and smiled while dancing. Based on Hillary's reputation, Bernie knew that the threats were not bluffs.

Exactly, all you do is repeat wingnut headlines that have no base in reality, keep doing that it only helps Hilary in the long run.

He wasn't a shill:

an accomplice of a hawker, gambler, or swindler who acts as an enthusiastic customer to entice or encourage others.

What he was is technically a "ringer":

In horse racing, when a fast horse was substituted for a slower one that it resembled (a "ring-in"), the term now applies to any athlete entered in a team competition under false pretenses in order to gain a competitive advantage by strengthening the team.

Donald trump is one now.
