Madonna goes topless in solidarity with Katy Perry's naked 'Rock the Vote' video

Madonna tweeted plans to cast her ballot while naked in solidarity with Katy Perry after the pop artist released a parody public service announcement through Funny or Die and the nonprofit Rock the Vote.

The provocative 58-year-old pop icon showed off a topless selfie early Wednesday and said she would be supporting Hillary Clinton in the November election.

I saw people questioning the logic of these moves on another forum. What connection is there between nudity and voting? The logic is free publicity as a way to announce who you're voting for. That makes perfect sense to me.

As a fan of both Katy Perry and Madonna, I find their actions here to be a little crass. It's too bad they aren't showing a bit more class. I definitely don't think people should be ashamed of being naked. Using one's nudity as a publicity stunt seems a tad lowbrow to me.

I'd vote against my conscience in order to AVOID seeing that old hag (physically, morally and spiritually) in the nude.

Good lord no. Had enough of her 30 years ago. Wonder if she crept closer to a razor in that time? I don't mind hirsute but she doesn't do it well.

Considering they are both puppets of the dark Music industry, I imagine that there is a sinister ritual of some kind.

You know, keep people under the illusion that their vote matters, you must pick from one of the elite's selection!

Sex sells, may as well use it for voting!

It must be difficult at 58 to stay relevant, must be very difficult when at that age you have to expose yourself for attention
