I hear Clinton won the debate last night. I didn't watch it, I have just listened to the news this morning (mostly NPR) and of course I've read though the many threads on this forum.

My take away was that Clinton had a good debate style; did not become flustered and got in a few good hits on Trump. However she did not do anything to help her self where it really matters for her ... for example no one walked away thinking she was any more trust worthy.

Trump apparently drank to much water, sniffled, didn't talk about the wall and the worst time he had was when Holt reminded the public that he was kinda for the Iraq war befor he was against it ... oh and according to NPR he talked over Clinton to much because he is sexist... he also apparently talked over Holt to much because he is sexist and talked over the Republicans to much during the primary debates because he is sexist....But again despite drinking to much water and not taking about the wall (and being sexist) no new dambing information has come out to hurt him.

So as far as Clinton victories go the needle probably hasn't moved much if any. So what can she do in the next debate to top her performance last night?

Since Trump didn't do well he has room to beat expectations and if he can, that will give him upward momentum. But Clinton doesn't have that head room. I assume her team is hoping to get a big enough bounce out of this debate to make it not mater, but what if she doesn't?

The only way for her to top last night's "performance"?

Her head could start spinning and she could spew vomit whilst growling out every obscenity imaginable. That would go along great with her forced grin and maniacal cackle.

She really tried to hide her evil, I'll give you that. But I want honesty. I want to see her finally pledge her undying loyalty to Moloch, or whomever the elite are deifying these days. I want flames and blood.

According to some news outlets, Trump won the debate hands down. Does anyone expect Clinton supporters to concede? They never do.

How will Clinton top her performance in the next debate.

Instead of Holt 'moderating' she could have someone like Debbie Wasserman Schultz 'controlling' the debate.

She could show up to the next debate with one of her clones. Poor Trump would have his hands full with two Clintons.

The only people saying she won are her supporters. Republicans, Independents, and even some Democrats are saying trump won.

Nah, bro. We can't be having any of that. The polls were hacked by bots. Or someone sit there for hours and hours and literally cast hundreds of thousands of votes over and over across multiple polling websites etc. Its a conspiracy when Trump wins. Didntcha know?

.... So what can she do in the next debate to top her performance last night?

she can be a 'Nurse Ratchett' (cookoo's nest) toward Trump

OR play the School 'Marm character... and scold the reactionary Trump from disrupting the classroom (the Debate) with 50 more 'shout outs' like he did in the Monday 26 Sept Debate

the School 'Marm persona will instruct the crude Trump adolescent on proper conduct and reasoning about issues not being just 'black & white' but very intricate and usually complicated because of all the factors & different peoples involved with the Issue...

her earphone coaching and having another dose of the sedative she had in the first debate should help her score big against the Trumpster in round number 2 of a 3 round exhibition match of presidential puffery

DNC I have my hand out for a gratuity for that bit of coaching, send check to ATS in my pen-name

I'd like to see her stand on her head and juggle some fire sticks.

At least it would be more entertaining than listening to her talk.

Erm, speaking as someone who saw it, she won hands down. It was brutally one-sided, as the man was an articulate cretin.

How can she top last night? Simple - make him bloviate to the point where he explodes in a fireball of hot air and charred comb-over.

She doesn't have to top her performance.

All she has to do is top Trump's performance in the next debate...which doesn't seem like that is going to be a hard thing to do.

I think she should stick to the strategy of "let Trump be Trump." There were some points she could have hammered harder on (like his admitting he pays zero taxes, which he tried to handwave as 'good business') but I think overall that she's on the right track.

I think she doesn't have to do much other than challenge his statements -- his answer to the question on racial problems was just ludicrous. He digs himself in deeper with his lack of research (in spite of what he wants, stop and frisk is still unconstitutional.)

Video cameras showed that Trump had some sort of snit fit as soon as he rushed off stage (clearly he felt that he'd been bested) and he spent today blaming everything else on the landscape for his problems. I suspect that this has gotten him rattled. He still won't do his homework (my own estimation is that he'll convince himself that he was perfect within a few days) and he'll sink and flounder in the next one, too.

She just needs to let him keep rambling when he goes off the rails like he did. That hurt him more than anything. Keep with the subject of him stiffing his employees and contractors. Bring up the subject that he refuses to put his money in a blind trust if elected so he can self-deal.

Oh and if she is going to smile keep her mouth shut.

Thanks to that debate Trump can come prepared for the next one to deal with a hostile propagandist moderator.

Judging by last night's event all she has to do is show up.

Waah so unfair..

That will not work if he is president. The UN is unfair, congress is unfair, China is unfair.

Life is unfair if he can't handle the pressure without imploding then the job isn't for him.
