All I know is enough came out about how her and the dnc treated Bernie to not get my vote. I wish there was someone besides these tow to vote for. It is so depressing.

I have been wondering the same thing all day. I am trying to find a post that was on Reddit where the person posting had a theory that the leaks, in part, will be released to Mr. Trump first and then to the general public shortly thereafter. The post was far more detailed than my explanation here. I will find it and return with a link. That would be an interesting turn of events.

OMG...not sure how many threads I have to post this on...the interview that the quote was associated to is complete and online. It is the only interview that Afshin Rattansi has done with Assange. The quote being attributed to Assange was NEVER said.

It is a made up quote that someone posted assuming correctly that nobody would actually watch the video of the interview to realize the quote is BS.

I am truly dumbfounded at the amount of ignorance I am seeing on ATS threads about this quote when it can be easily debunked by actually watching the interview....sad that this is even being debated and the threads on this aren't Hoax binned.

I'm pretty sure he was talking about her using a private server to send classified documents on. If she wasn't who she is she would be put in prison for that.

I also agree with your opinion on that. I just read it and it [the theory], at the very least, was interesting. The post included a brief explanation about how Mr. Trump would not be letting the viewers know that he had the info BUT he would definitely be using it as part of his speculative arsenal. I think the theory is that he would call her out on some things that he knew would be revealed soon after the debate. This would certainly make him appear "smarter" and it would pin her to more of her lies. Like I said, interesting to think about. I guess that only time will tell.

Disappointing. I think most of us thought he would release something or there was something coming. I guess that's what I get for relying on second hand information! LOL I'll admit it, I was an idiot. There's a reason I'm not a journalist. but I sooo wanted something from Assange today! AAAARRRGG!

Maybe Julian decided that poking an angry bear (the angry bear being the US government) with a pointy stick wasn't in his best interest.

Dudes already been hauled up in the Ecuador embassy for the last 4 years avoiding trumped up rape charges. He probably just came to his senses and realized he has enough problems, without running his mouth off and creating more.

But that's just pure conjecture on my part.

The truth is, that Wikileaks didn't have anything "big" as they continued to claim it to release in time for the debates. I think the last few years Wikileaks (Which should never have had a face by the way. It was far more powerful when we didn't know who was behind it) has become just another publicity seeking company. I know yes they release a ton of hacked information, and emails and bring things to light that we would never have seen or known but the fact remains that they are or at least Julian has become a publicity hound.

I have to wonder if he'd have come forward and shown who his face if it wasn't for the fake rape case against him, a clear attempt to get Sweden to give him to the States we would never have known who he was and Wikileaks would've been a much better and scarier (for politicians and their ilk) entity.
