Pressure cookers control, kitchen knife controls, toilet paper control, nails control, you can make a gun almost out of anything, better control the minds as well since is the mind that sets the path to destruction!

Difference is those items you just listed have other uses. Their primary use isn't to kill someone.
It's not about controlling everything its about reducing unnecessary risk.

But don't let logic get in your way.... go ahead bring up how many people are killed by cars.

Unnecessary risk, ah ah ah ah ah ah!

Dont go on assuming you know me, fella.

They have other uses yeah, but its the mind who sets how they are used. Im not against regulated gun control, but I also know where it might lead.

FACTS, FACTS, FACTS - The thing gun control advocates are afraid of most

The Truth About Gun Control

The Costs and Consequences of Gun Control

CATO Institute: POLICY ANALYSIS NO. 784

".........Finally, before adding new gun regulations to the legal code, policymakers should remember that several mass murders in the U.S. were prevented because citizens used firearms against the culprit before the police arrived on the scene......."

"It would be inaccurate to claim that the entire reason that crime has declined in recent decades is because Americans have so many more guns, but it would be accurate to say that having more guns is not associated with more crime. If anything, just the opposite is true. Policies that seek to stigmatize or criminalize gun ownership per se (such as a universal background check law that criminalizes loaning a gun to one’s sister, as discussed above) have little to do with public safety, except to undermine it......;"

"Unfortunately, misguided laws in recent years have made certain buildings vulnerable to sociopaths who, like Adam Lanza, aim to kill as many people as possible before there is effective resistance. By state law, Sandy Hook Elementary School was a gun-free zone: the state forbids carrying guns at schools, even by responsible adults who have been issued a permit based on the government’s determination that they have the good character and training to safely carry a firearm throughout the state.124 Thus, law-abiding adults were prohibited from protecting the children in their care, while an armed criminal could enter the school easily.

Over the last 25 years, there have been at least 10 cases in which armed persons have stopped incipient mass murder: a Shoney’s restaurant in Alabama (1991); Pearl High School in Mississippi (1997); a middle school dance in Edinboro, Pennsylvania (1998); Appalachian School of Law in Virginia (2002); Trolley Square Mall in Salt Lake City (2007); New Life Church in Colorado (2007); Players Bar and Grill in Nevada (2008); Sullivan Central High School in Tennessee (2010); Clackamas Mall in Oregon (2012; three days before Newtown); Mayan Palace Theater in San Antonio (2012; three days after Newtown); and Sister Marie Lenahan Wellness Center in Darby, Pennsylvania (2014).125

Some nervous laughter there, touch a nerve did I?

Its the mind... right, so all those accidental deaths are due to the mind? When a toddler gets there hands on a gun, lets blame their mind. Good one.

Where are your facts, all you've posted is your own propaganda driven drivel.

Why do you think America has much worse crime rates than the majority of civilised countries that have stricter Gun Control laws?

Are they all swamped with mass-shootings, gun deaths and outlaws?

IGNORANCE IGNORANCE IGNORANCE, its what Gun Advocates love to spew.

Keep living in fear, the rest of the world grew up while America still check under the bed for monsters.

nervous laughter? are you that enlightned now that you can feel people online? marvelous!

Listen, a toddler lacks maturity, where does maturity come from? it comes from the mind, the older you grow, the more developed your mind and perceptions develop along. If a toddler gets easy access to a gun, then you can blame the lack of maturity from the parents for lack of safety when keeping that same gun.

You regulate gun control disproportionately and you are feeding the black market even more. Criminals and terrorists win.

You are the one living in fear, fear of responsability, now deal with it.

So I'm responsible if someone else decides to use or store a gun irresponsibly?

but its the mind who sets how they are used

So you just abandoned this already given how it doesn't apply to people who aren't mature enough.

*triggered*

How funny, clear sign you are out of your depth on this one.

Don't mind me though, you go sit by the door, cradling your gun. "Protecting" your family, I mean, you are more likely to shoot your own mother than ever prevent a crime but hey! don't let that stop you swallowing the propaganda whole.

America has the most backwards thinking people in the world, its such a shame.

So you don't want to ban anything then?

Everyone should be allowed to own anything they want. You'd be happy with me being your neighbour and merrily building a nice nuclear weapon in my garden?

Or does your argument suddenly change then?

since you seem a little slow, I will repeat it just this once..

"If a toddler gets easy access to a gun, then you can blame the lack of maturity from the parents for lack of safety when keeping that same gun." --> You blame the parents, they are the ones who lack Responsability!, they are the gun owners! not the toddler obviously! hope you get it this time!

The best gun control you can have, its education and responsability, its where it all sets in.

Why do you think there are no massacres in Switzerland where every citizen has at least a gun in the house? not just regular hunting shotguns, but assault rifles even.
Compare their level of education with a regular american and it gives you all the answers you need.

Oh and by the way, I only own slingshots

So... you ignored my question again. Keep digging. I'm now responsible for this toddlers parents being irresponsible according to your logic. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you've just completely messed up your posts and that you actually mean something else. I'm nice like that.

So your saying Americans aren't clever enough to not shoot each other.

But instead of restricting guns ownership you want to wait till they catch up with Switzerland level of education. In the meantime you are happy to continue the rates of gun crime and homicide that dwarf the other civilised countries that DO have stricter gun ownership laws.

Yes, you perfectly proved your point that many Americans lack a good education.

The way the constitution intended the second amendments right to bear arms has no relation to today's society.

Rather a difference between muskets and assault rifles.

As to Hillary claiming America cannot end terrorism without gun control, well it may be an idea to stop supplying groups such as ISIS and other fundamentalist organisations with armaments abroad before suggesting such a ludicrous claim.

There has to be a change regarding the current gun control laws so people don't have access to assault grade weaponry which is obviously intended for more than defense. Stands to reason in a first world nation really.

I love how "shall not infringe" means "shall not infringe" but "militia" suddenly doesn't mean "militia".

Or how you ignore that the NRA changed the interpretation of the 2nd Amendment to what you now parrot as if that's what it's always stood for.

I also love how Americans seem to ##' their pants at the the thought of not having guns. Like how would they survive! How would a country survive?

As if its not done happily across the rest of the civilised world while Americans still shoot each other out of ignorant pride.

You seem to want the blame all for yourself, what kind of victim are you? they dont give prizes to victims, snowglobe.

You posed a situation where toddlers are given access to guns, assuming the gun belongs to his parents, and he has access to them without their permission or vigilance, then the parents are to blame, not You! Keep the gun in a gun locker, easy!

I will go slow dont worry.

I never said americans arent clever enough, I said gun education is necessary to prevent misuse of firearms, either accidental or as a prevention against attacks on other people, that education is already provided but maybe regulating it a little bit more wont hurt.

I'm not against restricting gun ownership, see my previous posts. Is it not true that Switzerland has a better educations system than the american system? You still have cases of gun crimes in countries with strict regulation of firearms, the black markets there are high on sales. So you wont prevent anything even with a total ban.

"So you don't want to ban anything then?

Everyone should be allowed to own anything they want. You'd be happy with me being your neighbour and merrily building a nice nuclear weapon in my garden? "

Why are you bringing nuclear weapons into a firearms debate? we are talking about handguns here, do you know the difference? seems like you are the perfect case of lack of education here

Ban all the firearms you can, a guy with a creative mind can make a weapon out of anything. See the weapons that are usually confiscated in Brasil as an example, they can build a shotgun out of a pipe steel and wood, using archaic methods of firing..

Oh and vote for Hillary!

Does anyone not notice, that gun threads are virtually the only place this member shows up to,and it is always to try and promote foreign communist policies of gun control???

Oh wait, he does hate on Donald Trump too. It is obvious from reviewing your posts though that your only contributions here are to attack the second amendment, promote gun confiscation, and occasionally slam the Trump.

These are not my theories, conspiracy, or assumptions. This is literally 90% of your posting history. Are you even from America???

America has the highest rate of mind altered humans due to the pharmaceutical industry/lobby with their legal and illegal drugs. It is the fragile and unstable drugged minds that actually account for many of the violent mass shootings. NDAA 2012 propaganda laws and the legal authority for the government to lie likely accounts for the rest of them.

You are correct. These are the subjects that I feel most passionate about and therefore post about. I read many of the other forums but either don't have the subsequent knowledge to add to the many scientific threads or the personal experience to contribute to the UFO threads.

I'm passionately against guns and Donald Trump, why are you trying to make it out to be a bad thing that I post in those forums?
