At the mall, kids aren't being expected to concentrate on what they are learning before they notice what the teacher is wearing and focus on that.

i can tell you all the teachers that i remember loving were younger and able to relate in more ways then one including knowing about what music we liked, knowing what was in style knowing different slang we used etc.

i see what she wears as being modern and trendy. and she is in shape and pretty. i would probably as a young girl look up to her.

You can still be young, modern and trendy without dressing like you're about to step out to the nightclub too.

My point still stands.

We should be able to wear whatever the fug we want.

The human body shouldn't be shamed.
Sexuality shouldn't be shamed.

We shouldn't be ashamed for having horny human bodies. We are horny human bodies.

We should be taught at home and in school about how to approach these topics respectfully. We should respect one anothers bodies and sexualities. We should be taught how to control ourselves, not one another. Self control, folk. A little self fugging control goes a long way.

IMHO, the human body is beautiful and weather permitting, I think we should be able to wear whatever the fug we want without getting assaulted. Judge all you like tho, ya uptight horny human bodies.

If we actually had the type of self-control you seem to be talking about, then there wouldn't be teen pregnancy at all because people wouldn't have overriding urges that prompt them to get themselves into that kind of trouble.

Provided she is following the same rules the kids have to follow I don't see the problem.
There does has to be rules however, but not anything that should forbid her from wearing that.

Tassles and a G-string wouldn't be productive for a learning environment.
Neither would a Barney costume.

But as neither of those is happening that I'm aware of this is just another fake outrage story.

I did one of those and survived to tell the tale, tbh. And trust me, it wasn't because of the clothes that I wore. It was because we are horny human bodies and there was a lack of self-control(and a lack of respect) about the matter... IMHO.

No. An ugly teacher would have to follow the same rules. A night club dress is a night club whether an attractive person is wearing it or someone who isn't so favored.

That's what a dress code is. Corporate America says wear a navy or black two piece suit; it doesn't say ... unless you are ugly, then wear a burka.

It isn't about her human rights to be herself. It's about having a job.
She is in one where people are expected to portray themselves in a certain way, to act and dress appropriately to their station.

From what I have seen, as lovely as she may look, she isn't doing that.

A teacher dressing well shows respect, both to the profession and to their students.
Not to do so is somewhat disrespectful to those values and may engender disrespect at some point from the students.
