Me and a friend spent 20 min rowing a boat that was anchored today. That was funny.

And parsnips. I got parsnips.

(what the hell IS a parsnip?)

GMO carrot probably, I never heard of them when I was a kid.

I`m surprised you could ask that in a butcher shop with a straight face.

I go to a real barbershop, its one of two of the longest running businesses here in NC. The guy that cuts my hair is an old Navy vet. If course, I give him crap when i go in, but he always does a damn good job on my high n tight.
You'll NEVER see these metrosexual men in there, thank god!

Star & flag for talking about meat - medium rare char-grilled meat. I love meat.

What meat did you buy? next time, ask for a pork fillet (about 1kg) & give it a layer of olive oil and a sprinkle of rock salt, BBQ roast on 200deg C for about 35mins. Let stand in loose foil for 10mins THEN eat it with fresh mango flesh and feta cheese.

I kid you not, this trifecta is a winner, you will smash it all back in one sitting and then immediately want more.

Thanks for the tip! I've never used feta, but have used bleu cheese a lot for my meats.

We usually get roasts, steaks, some "hotel steaks" we have cut up for stir fry's, ground beef, ground pork.

The mighty Parsnip probably deserves it's own thread.
Use as a secret ingredient in all soups, stews, chile, etc... It adds depth and complexity to the flavor experience.
Might even deserve a dedicated poem, but not the easiest word to rhyme: (ship, slip, trip?)

It's the German version of a potato.
