Long time lurker here,
I agree with you OP. Live topics, New topics, Hot topics, its all american elections or american news. Of course I find it completely understandable and I don't mind putting in a bit of effort to find other great threads, I find it greatly annoying. As an observer and not an active participant, I can't really justify my grumbling, but good to see u pointing it out.

New member here, I think the US centric posts elections etc are hilarious, I can always ignore the posts as can anyone else...easier to batch and whine though I guess.
