Cast Away

I'm a cast away, abandoned by my own people,
Set adrift amongst a sea of mindless sheeple,
Starving, I craved nourishment, food for thought,
But no one could feed me the viands I sought.

Drifting on a raft of my own design,
I dove into the waters, of my esoteric mind,
Assuming there were others, who just like me,
Were trying to reject their new programming.

And after many, many months, to my despair,
I could find no one, there was none anywhere,
Who chose to think for themselves anymore,
Who questioned and reasoned as they did before.

Sadly, as my raft drifted, on the changing tide,
I realized that my fate was not mine to decide,
That no matter how much I fought against it,
I would be taken wherever the current went.

Ummm...Simply not true...not true at all...

However...that being stated...I really like it...Despite the disingenuous nature
