Military convoys are also being reported moving through several major cities and civilian traffic is being blocked outside major airports.

Anyone across the pond hearing anything on this?

Seeing the same appear on a few sites now, except the MSM which always seems late to the game!

On further inspection, the tweets and articles I am seeing are date stamped 5th September, so I guess this didn't come to anything, if indeed it happened.

Anyhoos, anyone in the region hear anything about it?

I'm seeing a couple of obscure sites like super station 95 mentioning this but no more information than in the op.
A big deal if true though!

The only thing related is happening in Brazil

Brazilian police have clashed with demonstrators in Sao Paulo, where tens of thousands of people took to the streets to peacefully protest against the newly-installed president Michel Temer. The rally, attended by at least 50,000 people on Sunday, suddenly turned violent after riot police used tear gas, stun grenades and water cannon, which caused panic among people. Police said they were forced to take measures in a bid to prevent vandalism at the end of the rally.

It would be nice if they could wait until after mid October so I can get in my Mayan Riviera vacation first....

Were they regime changing the drug cartel? Or defending them?
