There it is, there is the rub.......you had it once.

You that obtuse? or are you really not familiar with the "tickle in the throat"?

It didn't happen once, that second bit was me mocking you.

Oh, I just noticed you implied I supported her; I'll go with obtuse.

I knew when I heard the usual raspy whiskey voice it would lead into a coughing frenzy.

Something definitely wrong.

But she blames Trump?

FBI and government report allergies is more like it.

All liars break down to the elements eventually.

By the way, what was the speech supposed to be about anyway?

I saw little boy Kaine hanging around, why didn't he just take over with an excuse for this fit?

This is what I was thinking. Lisinopril comes to mind. A quick google search yields these top hits:

Okay Doc, whatever you say. You seem to know it all. Have a nice day and watch out for that tickle, I heard it can be
contagious.

Peace
KD

You would think her doctor would know this and prescribe a different kind of medication though.

You would think so, it is a common side effect.
The only reason I knew of it is because a family member recently started on this drug and has been plagued by a dry cough. Here doctor just changed her prescription, but it can takes weeks for the cough to disappear completely.

I'm a little surprised I haven't seen anyone mention her DNC speech... She was coughing (all?) through that, too... Through "smiles..." (Who smiles when they're coughing, unless they're laughing?)

I think there're more important issues, but health, I suppose, needs to be addressed as well...

I actually realize "why" smile even when coughing, but the disingenuous smile is more easily recognized, IMO...

(Maybe it's just me.)

I wonder if she is on high blood pressure medication. Some of those make you cough like crazy.

Lisinopril is famous for that. Weird dry cough for no reason, all... the... time...

If your doc gives you an Rx for Lisinopril and doesn't warn you about the cough, s/he is an idiot. Get a new doc. People have suffered for years with the damn cough because they didn't know it was a common side effect of the drug.

That said, I don't think this is her problem. It's throat strain from yelling/talking all the time, and too much time on airplanes.

Whoops, just saw the posts up above.

Carry on.

I had a co worker with kidney failure who had a pretty nasty persistent cough, but honestly she could just have a dry throat.

OMG, she's falling a part! But don't be so naive and excpect her to drop out of race. She's not going to do it until her last breath...even than I'm not so sure...
