Oh another edit.....here is an idea....stop blaming everyone else for YOUR mistakes....take some personal responsibility....the offer for beer money was because i felt bad for you, now i realize this is all you and you would happily keep on digging your own grave just so you can keep your pride...so be it......carry on...

you dont know me or my personal experiences

also I am not the subject.

Plus you have no idea what my story is. I never told you or anyone here. Only superficial BS, since its none of your business.

Go work, pay rent and feed your kid. stop lecturing me.

what ever. send it to the refugees you cry about.

I do take responsibility. Now move out of your friends house, go to work, pay your bills and raise your kid.

EDIT BECAUSE I feel like it:
I am in this situation for being a jackass and helping people and working for free for over a year. I should have worried about myself.

lesson learned.

We are reaponsible for our own actions like this father is.

yeah pretty much.

They were safe. These people are dead because of their father.

This is all propaganda. It doesnt reach me. When you actually see the missery of life on earth it puts the spin into perspective.

Sentimental blackmail. Wag the dog crap.

I dont agree with it, and I dont say its right, but children have been sacrificed in

one way or another since time began ..... they have often been used by

unscrupulous parents.

slaverytoday.org...

Scroll down to Edison teen inspired to help trafficed children in homeland.

The OP states *Do all lives matter???*

I believe they do .... so why the 'pity party' for children's lives in particular? ...

because It tugs at the heart strings like nothing else
If this were not the

case, why do advertisers show starving children in poor countries where even the

adults are starving too

BECAUSE IT WOULDN'T HAVE THE SAME IMPACT

Turkey borders Syria, is directly affected by refugees. Last count over a million. Where do you think they exist, in a vacuum?

Turkey is a safe haven for refugees .... The EU has committed vast sums of

money to Turkey for the refugees and encampments.

Back to the topic in question .... the mother has not been mentioned! she

died too! but it seems her life was of no consequence or perhaps not worth

mentioning.

AND

As a family they were safe in Turkey, had been living there for some time

and his (the fathers) rent was being paid by his sister in Canada.... Yet he

chose to put them all on an unsafe dingy, and him being the

only member of his family to survive.

Oh, thats why people drown crossing the Mediterranean, 'for no reason'. Got it.

"Turkey has infrastructure". What a stupid excuse for why people are leaving the whole ME region and Africa-- by the millions. The vacuum is between your ears.

Encampments aren't 'safe'. Turkey isn't 'safe'. Just ask people in the Kurdish sector. Turkey is shelling their own country.

Edit: Reprisal bombings for that and their involvement in Syria occur throughout the country. NATO operates from Turkish airbases. The cherry on top is the recent coup attempt. The gubment under Erdogan is carrying out mass arrests and executions, ever since.

What a vacation spot.

Camps/Shelter in germany are not safe either for the righteous people that come here, btw. And with that, I´m not talking about the fires (Media is always fast blaming the germans, but seldom correct themselves if it was someone grilling in the attic or smoking).

I´m talking about other refugees who live by the law of the strongest and terrorize the rest of the camp.

Absolutely.......you are basically saying (please correct me if i am wrong) that you understand exactly where these people come from (as in needing to stick their family members on a dodgy boat and risk uncertain death for a hope for a better life) ...and that your personal experience has taught you this much...

Don't over egg the sentiments .... The family had been living in Turkey in

safety for some time,

Rent was paid by his sister in Canada so he wasn't on the bread line OR in

the firing line when he put his wife and two children in an unsafe

dingy. Who would you say was responsible?

Edit to add..... If my family had all drowned I would have too, as I would

have drowned in the effort of trying to save them!

Yes, all lives matter. Absolutely.

This is a beautiful tribute to the child... but I don't understand your challenge or how a tribute to one individual -- no matter how heart wrenching -- relates to "all" lives, much less how I'm supposed to put my money where my mouth is.

Used to do a lot of shows with lowkey back in the day. He's a good dude and incredibly smart. He's also put his money where his mouth is in ways that most people couldn't begin to fathom and suffered greatly for it. Brave guy for sure.

None of that matters to the limp little body found on the beach. It wasn't his fault.

All life matters equally, not some more than others. To single out any life and hold it more valuable than others is unjust.

Who upon seeing a little boy drowning isn't going to try and rescue him?

Is that in regard to ALL biological life, or just all human lives?

Either way, not all lives matter equally.

If ALL life matters, then you and I are both murderers of microbes, insects and bugs. How can we say all lives matter when we cause unnecessary harm to these creatures?

If only human lives matter, I would bet my soul you would sacrifice multiple human lives of those you don't know or whom you despise of in exchange for saving the life of your family, friends or loved ones.

It's actually kinda funny.

When I kill a fly or step on an ant - - I apologize.

And I am actually aware of "skin mites" - - that I wash down the drain when I take a shower.

There is a point when you have to let it go.

Not taking a shower, so we don't wash away skin mites?

As far as we know this little dust speck of a planet has the only life for light years in every direction. Thats a long ways.

So yah, all life matters.

Try to preserve it, all of it as much as possible.

Quit worrying about microbes.

But they are all family members, too. So you're selfish.

I don't despise anyone enough to 'sacrifice them', whatever that means.

Been watching too much Walking Dead zombie shows?
