Makes up for Richard Pryor not being in Blazing Saddles.

Edit: spelling for Blazing.

Gene Wilder, Alan Rickman, David Bowie, Prince, Angus Scrimm. 2016 has turned out to be a #ty year for celebrity deaths. Already lost five celebrities I loved dearly. I'm afraid of what the next few months might bring.

RIP Gene. I knew it was coming, but I still wasn't ready.

I don't want anyone to take this the wrong way, but I'm glad he's passed on. Alzheimer's isn't pleasant to deal with. The suffering is over...and to be quite honest, he's free of this crazy world now...at least I think he is, unless reincarnation is a thing.

Either way, he will be missed by millions as the nice and funny man he was.

I hope his spirit and soul find peace wherever they may be.

Sadly I gotta agree Alzheimer's is such a horrible disease. He'll be sorely missed.
But Gene Wilder has left behind an amazing legacy of work. He'll be remembered as one of the greatest comic actors. One of a kind. RIP old friend.

PS Do NOT open this door!

It is such a shame that any human becomes ill and ends up dying from a disease that should have otherwise been prevented or not contracted at all. I honestly hope that as humans our health crisis improves very soon as our health among many other problems we face should be limited.

Sad to hear this man has passed, sad to hear any good hearted human pass.

I like to think to he and Gilda were just reincarnated as two children who will someday grow up and fall in love with each other and live a long, happy life together. They never got the chance in this life, so lets hop that's the case in their next lives.
