'Go topless Go' is the equal rights anthem we did not know we needed !

I found this an amusing article about some women who claim to be part of the Raelian (E.T) movement and insist that they should be totally free to go topless.. All movements need a catchy phrase or a song as this movement is no exception with a song called 'Go topless Go'. Those who are offended by bare breasted females should not view the video in the article of the girls singing and dancing to their theme song. Otherwise if interested, you are safe by going to the link and reading about their cause...

I used to fly in the Pacific where there were still islanders who went topless as a common practice back in the 80s.. I never thought of it as a big deal for it was their culture.... but in today's world a woman breast feeding their infant can get some religious do-goobers or snowflakes to almost vapor lock... so go figure...? I will also agree to a certain extent that if I were a woman in today's world I would darn sure pick my time and place to go exposed... If the whole society does like the Islanders used to do then being one of the crowd does not make you stand out... safety in numbers... hahah

I personally believe these little darlings will have a hard time getting their message to be accepted by others....Others than their little cultist group...

With a very large percentage of the worlds population insisting women should be covered in the latest black toe-sack fashion they do not stand a chance in Hades of ever becoming more than a cult IMO.. But you gotta give then a "T" for trying ...

Now having said all that I really do not care. I have been to beaches where there were topless and sometimes totally exposed beach goers.. Usually overseas ... but so what...Their choice their bodies... I guess you could call me a do your own thing kind of guy... Just don't force your B.S. on me or mine...and all will be well....

I am all for woman expressing themselves in any manner they see fit, it's just a bonus if said expression was done topless. Although in today's messed up society, people will probably freak out.

I have no problem with women going topless if they want in area where men are allowed to go topless. Now if a private business wants to have a no shirts no shoes no service policy that is fine with me.

I will say though that I think a lot of this is blown out of proportion. There is a commentator named Gavin McInnes who talks about his belief that bra burning feminism was created by men. He says these men encouraged women to be nude and have sex with multiple partners to be cool, all the while chuckiling at the fact they no loinger had to marry or seriously date a girl to get laid. I am sure there are many such men who would totally support these women running around topless.

Its this kind of movement that is needed as push back against Muslims who try to impose their own values on others. A movement such as this that provides the numbers and sends a strong message to Muslims that they fit into western culture not the other way round.

The word tolerance is only used in white and western societies.

Why don't western political leaders, opinion molders, shock jocs, and craze makers and commentators preach tolerance and restraint to the Muslim leaders and to the Muslim community. Why dont they demand it?

Well our western political leaders have been intervening for some time now and all they have a achieved is 100,000's of dead and millions of people displaced. Maybe we should mind our own business and let the muslims evolve on there own.

I wouldn't be caught dead topless. I avoid it yearly during the annual bike marathon, YUCK!

Sorry but as a woman no just no, it's equivalent to 'me' anyways, to walking around without anything on below the waste. There are children and older generations out there who are being badly effected by these stupid cracks!

Thank you!!! My wife and I agree with you on this topic. It's really no different than running about with no bottoms on. No matter how much women push to walk around topless, she never would.

To be fair as well, we both hate the fact that guys walk around topless. Neither of us want to see that. All it does is tells us that the guy doing it is an arrogant piece of # that thinks he's way hotter than he really is.

No answer other than it has been going on like forever ! Sexiness is in the mind and modesty goes a long way to stimulating desire. I remember in Saudi Arabia how some sex starved individuals would say, "Wow, did you see the hands on that one!" Meaning she looked fine and cultured.. Bare breasted or even totally nude after a while becomes non sexual if you are around it all the time. The islanders did not look at breast as a sexual stimulant because breast were always bare and almost always to different degrees, present on the females.

Having some modesty and shame helps keeps urges in check. Pretty soon it will be pushed for full nudity because whats the difference. If humans were rational nearly all the time this would not be an issue. But we are sometimes at the whims of our older brain structures.


I'm sure someone will cite nudist resorts and such but these are mainly couples with high levels of the openness trait and high levels social ostracization for public sexuality at the resort.

I don't trust anyone that doesn't like titties.
That's all I'm going to say about that.

At what age for a child do a woman's breasts become considered inappropriate?
My memory is a little foggy, but I'm pretty sure that's the first thing that got stuffed in my face.

Biology is what arouses men through visual stimulation as established by medical science and mental health professionals and it's what their models are based on.
Our society HIDES them and WE have over sexualized them so HERE we are.
If you attempt to get angry at MEN for reacting ,you will receive a good thrashing for such an exterior idea so far off from the collective,in fact it's bigotry of a sexual nature.
Some won't understand because it is status quo and THERE remains their intellect.
I do understand that but the programming is LONG set in my psyche, BOOBS are desirable.
By the way dress by covering up and NOT letting it all hang out and perhaps the more base MEN will not feel THAT is an invitation to grab a woman.
I went to art college in 14 and the girls dressed like they were working corners on Sunset in Cali JUST like TV.
THAT is popular cultural influence gone BAD ,dressing NICE isn't dressing SLUT ,if your areolas show ,you've done it wrong and invite an attack or death.

Life's HARD like that.

For those who are all for topless women, remember...not all women are young with pretty and perky boobs. You just might want to re-think this.
